So I've finally set up my consultation this Thursday for my BBL surgery. I've been on Realself for over a year going back and forth with if I wanted to go through with this and who would be my doctor. I really didn't want to leave the state and have to deal with hotels and flying, so I chose a local doctor. She has great reviews and her results look good, so during my consult, I'm going to see if she can help create my dream body. I'm currently 26, no kids, 5'6, 187lbs and I'm hoping to lose 20-40lbs beforehand. In my opinion, this surgery looks best when you're just slightly overweight preop, so I've been counting calories and running. I'll update you on the doctor's recommendations after my consultation.
I'm more excited about the lipo honestly. I considered just getting that done, but the cost and pain are pretty similar so might as well throw a round booty in for good measure. I need some serious back, flank and lower belly lipo. Even at my lowest weight of 133lbs, that spare tire refused to disappear.
I'll post some pre-op photos as I lose a few pounds and the sx gets closer.. but no one could pay me to post a photo highlighting my body right now.
I'm excited for the time when I can wear sundresses and it looks flattering and sexy, or wear jeans and not have to continuously pull them up every 5 minutes because I have this belly and no booty.
I'm currently a college student, and I have an easy final semester this fall (just one online class and studying for a licensing exam) and it would be the perfect time to heal from this surgery at home with no responsibilities requiring me to sit for a few months. I'm looking to schedule sometime in May or July depending on what agreement the surgeon and I come to.

My BBL Consultation Experience
Jess1391June 5, 2018
I had my consultation back in March 2018 and everything went well.
I had no idea what to expect, but the building was very nice and sleek looking. I was honestly a little intimidated going into the actual office, just because it started to dawn on me that I was in a plastic surgeons office. The only surgery I've had in the past was the removal of impacted wisdom teeth, so I was freaking out a bit thinking about signing up for surgery.
After finding my way to the office and signing in, one of the girls at the front desk was a little rude, but literally, everyone else I came into contact with was great. Dr. Sato was gorgeous and very knowledgeable. I had a ton of questions but she answered them all and didn't hold back when it came to explaining the risks involved.
The consultation consisted of a sit-down conversation, where she answers any questions you have and you can tell her a bit about your expectations and what you are looking to get done. After that, you go into another room where she does an examination.
During the examination portion of the consultation, I got undressed and into the gown they provided as if I was at my normal doctor's office. Dr. Sato came in and examined my belly fat and back rolls, along with the current shape of my booty. She told me I might have some loose skin on my belly, but I’m praying that it tightens up. I haven’t had kids, so a tummy tuck anytime soon is out of the question for me.
I had done my research before my consultation so I knew that she was a board certified plastic surgeon (she's actually double board certified in general surgery as well!) The facility that she practices out of is also AAAHC certified. These certifications, plus how much she cares about patient safety, made me finally decide to put my body into her hands.

BBL Sx date scheduled! OMG!
Jess1391June 5, 2018
So a lot has happened since my consultation back in March. I planned to have this sx in May 2018, but life got in the way and I had to hold off for a couple of months. I got in contact with Morgan, the patient care coordinator, a week ago and she has been so helpful with getting me back in order for surgery.
I had my labs done a few days ago, and I was certain that my hemo would be low, but it was a 13 something. All of my numbers were in the normal, healthy range actually. Because of this I was able to go right ahead and schedule my surgery.
I've booked my date for July 9th! yay! That's only 34 days away, so as soon as I got off the phone with Morgan I started to freak out. I knew I wanted to do this in July (honestly as soon as possible, but I have previous obligations) but, now that I've paid the fee to hold my date, it has gotten a lot more real.
I'm still going back and forth on what exactly I want lipo'd. All I know for sure is I want her to lipo the hell out of my stomach, waist, upper and lower back, and those little fat packs near my under arms. I've asked to add arms to my quote aswell (it doesn't cost extra, but arm lipo does require an extra garmet that you have to pay for) but my main concern is my torso. If my body allows, I would like the lipo 360, with arms, medial knees, and the top of my inner thighs.
I decided to even pay extra for the overnight stay, just so she can lipo more fat. Texas has a 5000cc limit, but if you stay overnight you can get up to 10,000cc removed if your body allows for it. I figured, I'm already paying all of this money, going under anesthia, and freaking out, might as well give the doctor the ability to make sure I'm as snatched as she can make me.
I've lost about a few lbs so far... it would have been a little more, but I yo-yo'd for a few weeks due to final exam stress. I was 5'6 190lbs at the time of my consultation, and I'm 183lbs now. She didn't say I had to lose weight, but I've read higher BMI's = more risk... and I don't want anything making me more risky. I was techinically obese before, but now my 29.5 bmi classifies me as 'just' overweight. I'm hoping to lose another 10lbs before my sx and go in at 170-175.

Hey there and congrats! Very happy for you that you will be snatched next month. I too decided to go local here in Houston and I strongly considered Dr. Sato who I know is a great Plastic Surgeon but I went to see Dr. Hsu first and I was sold. Lol. So I decided to just stay with him. My surgery will be in October. I am excited to share your journey with Dr. Sato so keep us posted. I will do the same. My surgery is a little ways off so I haven’t been doing much...just buying a few supplies here and there and trying to figure out how the heck I am gonna sleep on my stomach for at least 2 months. Lol.
That’s my biggest worry! Anywho keep us all posted!

I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Hsu as well (I actually need to call and cancel it), he has some great work but I visited Dr. Sato first and I like how she sculpts the entire body and doesn't charge extra for additional lipo areas. I'm a stomach sleeper already, so I'm hoping it won't be too bad lol. Good luck on your journey, try not to buy too much stuff, I always see girls saying they don't end up using the majority of it anyways. I just followed your review on your page btw.
