I didn't do any massages i wore a very tight corset that i had made not from the Dr but from a corset company. I don't think you need massages but i am not a DR. I chose to use a corset and not the garment cause after i got the garment it was loose. The corset squeeze the skin in i feel that made the results on the tummy. I have a bit of loose skin cause 38 to 26 waist is a big jump. I wore the corset for ave 2 months. I didn't sit for 2 month either i just lay down or stand. The pain is great after it felt like you take 2 basket ball and stuff in under your ass skin. That was the pain the skin pulling to fit the fat. If you are traveling it's tough. You need at least 1 week in a hotel after because you can't sit. I feel the first week is hard cause you also can't poop or wipe if clean if you did poop. I use a toilet that had a wall close bye and sink next too it to support myself both hands had something to hold on too. Cause there is no way you would be able to sit. So you had to scoop over and poop. Ton's on baby wipe TONS to clean the vagina and butt area. You can take a bath within a day but it was hard cause you have to protect the scar's and un-dress from the garment so baby wipes is a nice way to wipe the whole body down. Bath was hard cause you have the Butt triangle shaper that it was hard not to wet. You also have to consider if you are driving you need a place to lie down I "stole" like 2 pillow from the hospital and set the front seat down and lay forward in the seat to ride home from the hospital and back and fort to the DR. No way on a flight unless you sit. Plus you are hunched over for the first 2 weeks like in a hutch back hand to knee position when you walk. NO JOKE! Also you have your check up in 2 days and a week to remove your drain. So at least a week! With my experience if i had to do it i would do at least 8 days before traveling. Before you do the surgery do all your house work, laundry and grocery. I didn't and my home was a mess. I had to send the hubby to the grocery (he bought all the junk and expensive brand) lol. SO do everything so for at least 2 weeks you don't have much. If its lipo only the you can walk out the hospital and party no pain in the lipo areas(lol). Drink tons of water to flush the fat and fluids out and you can remove the drain in less than a week. The water helped with the swelling and Black/blue. The doctor told me to use the garment for 3 months and dont sit for at least a month but 3 prefer. I actually didn't sit for 3 months cause sitting on 2 basket ball is hard lol. Hope this helped. Ohhhh a lot of places offer massage that price didn't include massage. To me (i am not a DR) I feel it's a waste of $$$ cause if you keep the garment on (24hrs/for the whole mth expect bath time) you should not have issue with the skin. And the water you drink flushes the fluids out faster than any massage. I say this because when you drink the water you see it coming out of the drain. If you don't drink tons of water nothing drain's. Good luck so exciting!

For the lipo part 1 if 1 is the lowest. I can't take pain at all but the lipo of the tummy and back i had no pain.

I feel it's so worth it but if your doing lipo of the tummy and have a lot of fat like i did get a corset. Take the money you would off spend on the garment a get a professional corset. For lipo only you can travel the same day after the surgery i feel (not a Dr but lipo to me was easy) If i only did lipo i probally would party the next day lol. R u doing Lipo of BBL

I copy and paste this reply to a email. Please excuse the spelling. It was a late night! I can send you pic and you will see how great his work is. I had a flabby tummy and no butt. I was at a stage that i needed change been to the gym for years no great result. So i went to Dr Cortez. My waist was 38 hip 44. (yeah i know 155 lbs i thought i was still slim lol) after the surgery the pain was tough but you need a little help for about 5 days then its good not too bad. Its a year and i'll do it all over if i had to. My waist 3 months after was 26 i got a little gready and for the 6 mth so period i felt like i could eat anything because i was small (do do that you could ruim all the results) and it's ok. well i jumped up in weight (158) and my waist was 28. i worked out after the feeding lol for a month to stabliize and now i have a 27 inch before bed waist so it varies 25 to 28 depending on my gread lol. oh my hip now is 38 but i am really curvy. 32d bra natural, 27 waist and 38 hip. it looks perfect hourglass cause the bust is big. I look great physically but mentally better self. Weight wise after the surgery i was only 148 cause all the fat was place back in the butt....I never got down in weight on the scale but i am more muscular and fit now with a clean diet and exercise i am 145. I like it cause hubby is 6'2 and muscular. About the hubby he love the change both physical and mental i got him to see Dr cortez a few days ago and he is going in on dec 6 for lipo and body shaping. He has a great body but a tummy and love handles and a little man chest lol. He works out 6 days a week 2 hrs a day avg and now decided to (cheat) lol cause it is so hard. I would do it again. had no side effects some pain but the pain killers worked wonders. the first 5 days i wanted to die but after that it was ok and managable. I have no job by choice so recovery was easy since my boy was only 4 it was not bad with school and after activities we keep him busy to easy up on the trama of seeing me "sick". Sorry about the book you just caught me at a good time when i could spend a bit of time replying you. I am not editing so sorry about the spelling and writing. Again i love the results and Dr Cortez was super, he was kind and listen to me after the surgery. Anytime i need to see him he made the effort to call me or schedule to see me. I now go to him for chem peel micro/der and lazar. his price is good especially his specials for the face services. if you need new pic i can send you some. your question long term i'll do it over in a heart beat even knowing the pain the results is amazing. No one from seaing me today can tell i had surgery i look natural and because i am a little heavy 145lbs 5'4" It looks like i was born lucky! Be dedicated after to working out and eating somewhat clean. If it is one thing you take away take this away. I wish i knew this ahead. You need to take this so serious trust me cause it can creep up if you feel its just ok to munch a bit more cause you have great "inch" don't.
