WORTH IT$3,500
I decided to add Sculptra to my treatment plan. I have had 2 vials so far, and plan to have 2 to 4 more (as they go on sale at my Med Spa). They say "4 for 40" and I am 52, so I bet I will need 6 and then more for maintenance. I may also add Juvederm as the suggestion of my expert injector, and after looking closely at my older pics. I think my Ultherapy treatment and Sculptra have added volume to the apple of my cheeks, but the upper cheek/under eye area still looks a bit shallow.

It is said that it's the journey that counts, rather than the destination, so I will try to be patient and enjoy the journey.

Me in 2006, 2013, and now in January 2016
I'm sick of blowing up pics and torturing myself over microscopic imperfections (not that they are ALL microscopic!) so I though I would post a few real life pics today. I will post my results at 6 months with fingers crossed for great results!

You are still a beautiful and natural woman! As I see your picture in 2006 and now I would think that there is missing volume in cheeks and the temple area. Did you ever try hyaluronic acid there (not sculptra)?

Thanks Cleo! Hyaluronic acid is my next step. I just finished my third round of Sculptra (will post new pic soon) and then I will do Voluma to my upper temples and upper cheeks and tear troughs. Rene, my injector convinced me to go with hyaluronic acid for areas that Sculptra should not be used. I was fearful that fillers would give me a certain "canned" look, but am feeling more confident that proper use can restore fullness without looking overdone or unnatural. I am getting excited to see the end results!!!

Thank you for sharing your journey. You are naturally beautiful. Your most recent picture after adding Sculptra is stunning. Your face looks more full and youthful. I have been deliberating over the last year how to fill my volume loss (temples, lower face, and now starting to notice hollowness and bagging under my eyes). Please keep me posted on your journey with Scultpra or any fillers. Some procedures I've been considering are Sculptra (afraid of the nodules I've heard reported), mid face lift, or and fat transfer. Thank you!

Hi Sek! Unfortunately, the pic you are referring to is from 10 years ago. I was mentioning that my goal is to get that fullness back again. I just finished my third vial of Sculptra and I will post an update when the bruises have faded. I have not turned the clock back 10 years yet, but I am getting closer!

Also meant to mention that I have had good results with Sculptra so far. Sculptra is actually meant to work by forming tiny granulomas to build up the areas that need volume. When the product is not mixed properly or is placed in the wrong places then there is a greater risk of larger nodules forming. Vigorous massage helps disperse the product once injected. Hope that brings some comfort.

I would love to have fat transfer since it is supposed to last longer, but seem to be on track with what I am doing. Face lift seems so drastic. If I need one later I hope that all the work I am doing now will contribute to a more balanced result.

I tried to get close on the angles, but difference in lighting might make a big difference. My weight has not changes, but I think my face looks a bit fuller.

I still have a few areas of altered sensation (a cross between slightly numb and slightly tighter) but it is not a negative in my case. It is really just beneath my consciousness unless I think about it.

I think that I see slight areas of improvement, but it is still too soon to judge. My skin does feel a bit firmer to the touch.

I am not objective enough, so you can judge by the pics.
