39 Years, 215 pounds, Tummy Tuck- Ready to Do This!! (Scheduled 11.18.15)
ORIGINAL POST
Hello everyone, your experiences have helped me so...
WORTH IT$9,750
Hello everyone, your experiences have helped me so much and encouraged me to share. I have been wanting to get a tummy tuck for a while now. I had my first child at 20 and second at 24. My tummy area has never been flat, even before kids had a thick waist/double tummy effect. I try my best to eat right and my busy lifestyle makes hard to get a workout in, I try to go at minimum twice a week. I have been working on this belly for years, from boot camps to waist training but still cant get it quite right. I am more of a slim straight body type and I have always wanted to have a more defined waist. Honestly I'm very nervous about the recovery but super excited to see results. Here are a few of my pre pics. I'm scheduled to go in about 3 weeks.

Pre-Op
Well tomorrow's my pre-op. I'l be visiting the doctors office to go over the final logistics. I wanted to lose 20 pounds before the surgery but that went out the window. I just remember to continue with healthy eating habits. Dieting never works out for me, I do better with focusing on putting good things into my body. I actually stopped weighing myself because it contributed to my anxiety. So far I've purchased a zero gravity chair for my living room and will probably get a recliner for the bedroom. After tomorrows pre-op I will start collecting the rest of the items from my shopping list. I don't want to purchase any items that will be supplied by the doctor's office. I would like to start incorporating more natural anti-inflammatory vegetables into my diet like turmeric and pineapple. I saw this smoothie recipe containing blueberries that I will make sometime next week. I'm really not big on smoothies but want start getting the right nutrition in for the big day.

Pre- Op Finished!
So the pre-op went well. I paid my final balance and sat with Dawn who answered all my questions and concerns. We talked for almost an hour! I had a lot of questions and actually thought of a couple more since I left. We didn't get to go over compression garments so I'm not sure if I'm supposed to bring one with me or not. We spent a lot of time talking about post-op care. I was expecting to see Dr. Leo again but he wasn't in the office. After my consult we took my official before photos. I spent some time this weekend gathering most of the items from my supplies list.. I'm all set to go!
Thank you for starting your journey with us. Don't be nervous, the results are all worth the short term recovery period. I will be anxious to see the after pictures so please keep us up to date.
You are welcome:)
