11 Week Update! Results look really nice
WORTH IT$9,750
Here we are at 11 weeks. My ab's are still feeling tight and a little sore, because of that I haven't started doing ab work at the gym. I'm really afraid to hurt myself. I've resumed everything else. I do cardio at the gym and only lift 10 pound weights for now. I am allowing myself the time to heal.
I finally weighted myself this week and found out that I lost a total of 10 pounds. That makes me feel better especially since I only initially lost 2.5 pounds. I have been wearing form fitting clothes and i love my silhouette! I'm SO much more confident about my appearance. I've taken more body selfies that I ever have in my life, lol! The only problem that I have now there is some slight dog-earing on my hips, but my doctor told me to allow 6 months to allow all of the swelling to go down. There is a possibility that they may go away on their own. I still have discomfort and swelling around the scar area, and it itches sometimes. I anticipate that this will go away with time as well.

Almost 8 weeks now!
I am in the exact same size and it still hurts to sneeze.. I had my final follow-up on Wednesday and he says I'm healing well. I have concerns about some excess skin on the sides of my hips and the doctor said that it should go away in 6 months after I'm fully healed.
I was so excited for the 6 week mark to roll around. I was anxious to work out again.. only to find out that I wasn't physically ready yet. I'm still in pain and my endurance is not up to where it used to be. This week I gave in and started lightly working out anyway.. arms and legs. Stairs and weights. I dare not do any ab work until it stops hurting to sneeze and cough. People are starting to notice the change in my shape, I tell them I'm waist training. My stomach is flat but my waist is still straight, not sure if that's swelling or these are my final results.

6 Week Update
Hi Friends!!
I can't believe how time flies. Has it really been 6 weeks?! Funny how it feels like a short time, but at the same time it feels like an eternity with some of the ailments.
I'm finally starting to see the results, but still feel swelling a bit. At 4 weeks I switched over from wearing my hospital binder to a spanx type girdle but I think my butt and hips are shrinking from wearing it too much. I need to find something that only goes on the waist area. I tried the Genie Hour Glass Belt, but it only made that little puffy pubic ken doll area look more exaggerated.
It took me 4 full weeks to stand all the way straight, and I still hunch over a bit when I get tired sometimes.
At the 6 week mark, I KNEW I would be dashing to the gym. I have been cleared to go back but not sure if my body is 100% up to it. It still hurts when I cough, and I am uncomfortable when I take my binder/girdle off for more than a couple of hours.
I have religiously used rose hip oil and emu oil on my scar and I think that its fading pretty well. I'm not so enthused about the way my skin folds on the sides and wondering if that will eventually go away. I sure do hope so because its not pretty.
My busy life has resumed so It's hard to post updates as often as I would like so forgive me friends. Here are a few pics I took last night so you can see the results so far. I love that my belly is flat but didn't realize that it would bring so much emphasis to how straight my hips are. In hindsight I would have asked to have some fat transferred to my hips and buttocks area.
The NEXT time I post an update, I promise to have matching undies or a decent outfit on lol! Perhaps sometime next week. Hope you all have a happy holiday weekend. :)
