Day 17 Post-Op
34andmommyof3April 3, 2014
WORTH IT$21,900
I haven't updated in a while because I was feeling pretty swollen still and my breasts looked rather large. I've got to say, as they're "settling" more and not as swollen...I am in LOVE with them. They are perfect, in my opinion and a WONDERFUL improvement over my breasts before. I originally told Dr. Basu that I did not want them to be too big, and he picked the perfect size, shape, and profile to fit my anatomy. He is an artist and an expert. I say, you can "shop around" for other Dr's to perform this procedure, but if you want it done beautifully and elegantly, go to Dr. Basu. He knows what he is doing. His staff has been excellent and super caring with me via phone or visit. And I've called many times with questions, and they always answer my questions right away. Because of his bedside manner, his incredible staff & amazing nurses, not to mention the results, I would choose him again and again.
For a surgery like mine, although it was expensive, if you want something done right, then sure it will be a little more expensive. But I had several procedures done at once. With any type of body or facial procedure do not shop for the lowest price, you aren't going to get quality. And that is what Dr. Basu gives you, quality.
On to my update, the last 2 weeks have been pretty good. I've been trying to stay off of my feet as much as possible, but I do get up and walk around because that's the only way to get better and heal. I've been eating normally but my appetite isn't 100%. I get full off of the slightest amount of food, but I am taking my vitamins and drinking plenty of water. The first week, I ate terribly because I didn't feel like cooking and I'm not a fan of soup. But my mom was able to go to the grocery store for me and get me the healthier stuff I normally eat, and tons of fruits and veggies.
Here is a closer-up photo so you can see how my breasts are doing, and my tummy scar. I still have a little swelling in my tummy and a little bruising on my breast.

Day 4 Post-Op
34andmommyof3March 22, 2014
This compression bra is squeezing my SOUL. I can't wait to take this thing off! Plus, it's so itchy. Dr. said I can't shower until my first post-op appointment, which is next Wednesday. So today, my dear daughters washed my hair for me over the kitchen sink, and also brushed and blow-dried it. I felt much better.

You look great!I'm 48 hrs post op and having some serious swelling and I still have a pooch, I hope I flatten out as the swelling resolves!

Thank you! I had a pooch the first couple days too. I think it's just swelling, so take it easy and drinks lots of water. Make sure you wear your stomach binder. It will resolve. Hang in there! :)

Day 3 Post-Op

Here are some photos. Finally took my stomach binder and bra off to readjust myself. So this was my first glimpse at myself post-op. I'm very happy with what I'm seeing, so far.

You look great! I have a question about the thigh lift. Did you get the one where the incisions are inside by your groin or the one that goes down the inside of the leg to the knee area? I was just curious!
March 20, 2014
Hi, thank you. I got the thigh lift with the incision inside my groin area, so that when wearing panties or bathing suit, it won't be visible.
March 21, 2014
Ok I have seen both, I think I would go with the same one you did if I decided to do that maybe later on! Thanks so much for responding!
