I had a breast augmentation done in December 2017. I give 10/10 for literally every aspect of my experience. First off, my boobs look amazing. I went from essentially nothing to a C cup - 275cc silicone high profiles. They always look funky when the implants are first placed when they haven't "dropped" yet, but honestly I fell in love with mine from day 1. They ended up being the perfect size, shape, and they look crazy natural. The staff was incredibly nice, from the front desk girl, to the surgical assistants, anesthesiologist, the lady that did my paperwork/payment stuff, and Dr. Ciaravino himself. Ashley was who took me through my consultation with Dr. Ciaravino, and I believe she's a surgical assistant as well. She was extremely nice, helpful, educated, she texted me photos of my breasts during the procedure, and I also texted her over the weekend when I had questions regarding my surgery, and she responded instantly and always knew how to address my concerns. I also loved the anesthesiologist Dr. Nguyen. He called me the night before surgery and asked me detailed questions about my medications and history. I've had multiple surgeries before, and he was by-far the best anesthesiologist I've met just based off my observations. Any time I've had an IV done, the nurse or anesthesiologist tries to go for a specific vein in my arm that looks like a "good one". I always ask them not to, because it's actually not a good vein and they still try to use that one anyways and end up sticking me multiple times with the needle. Dr. Nguyen didn't ignore my request and there was virtually no pain when he inserted the IV - for anyone who hates needles as much as I do. I don't think most people care about this aspect of the operation when they're reading reviews, but Dr. Nguyen and that part of my experience stood out to me. As far as Dr. Ciaravino, he was calm, collected and nice. I honestly can't say much else about him because I didn't spend much time talking to him besides the consultation, but his work speaks for itself. That's all I care about at this point. My boobs look amazing. You can look at his before & after gallery, and go look at other doctors galleries... in my opinion, all 14 or whatever pages of Ciaravino's pictures look natural, symmetrical, and proportional to their body. They had me wash the night before with an antibacterial soap and also the morning of surgery - which I also had never done with my other surgeries. I could tell that Dr. Ciaravino and his group were very concerned with cleanliness and that's a big factor with capsular contraction and obviously infections too. The only negative thing I can say about my experience was the recovery. The way they made it sound was like a very very easy recovery with just minimal discomfort. However, I was in a lot of pain for the first 4-5 days and needed help doing everything for the first 3. I think everyone recovers differently though. I also am a bodybuilder and have a decent amount of pectoral muscle - I have no idea if that affects the recovery since they're having to place the implant under more muscle tissue? But I definitely did not expect to be in as much pain as I was. A lot of stuff online says you can return to work in 3 days - I couldn't drive for the first 5, and definitely wouldn't have been able to work for at least 5-7 too. Regardless, I still wouldn't have gone to any other surgeon. The "surgical bra" that they place you in after surgery was not like anything I expected. It kind of reminds me of a seamless training bra, but it is the most comfortable bra I've ever owned, and I actually asked for another during my follow-up. :)
