I had two previous c sections, nursed three children, and recently had a 90 pound weight loss. My stomach hung over the scars and it really bothered. me. I also wanted a breast reduction because my breasts were uneven and saggy from nursing three children. I made the decision to make an appointment on a Thursday, saw the doctor the following Tuesday and immediately scheduled for January 4! I was a little nervous about undergoing surgery.. I had heard it was quite painful. I was also worried that maybe I was being selfish by spending that much money on my physical appearance. I am seven weeks post op, and I have made the best decision of my life. I am still a little swollen and still have some areas of tenderness, but the difference in my body already is wonderful! My doctor did an amazing job! I would advise anyone who is on the fence about the surgery...do it! i wish I had done it sooner! That is my only regret!
For the breast reduction with implants, I was a 34DD when the boobs where tucked into my bra before with implants, he used the Natrelle Inspira implants, SRM style. 345 cc on right and 330 cc on left. I am now about a 32 DDD, but there may still be some swelling. The doctor explained that these were "gummy bear" silicone implants that you could cut in half and go back in a year and nothing would leak out. They were extremely hard and pointy at first, but they feel super natural now! For the tummy tuck, I was cut hip to hip. There was some pain, but it was definitely manageable with medications! After a six or seven hour surgery, I stayed overnight at the hospital and had a pain pump. I was released from hospital about noon on Tuesday, and continued to take pain meds until Saturday. After that I took no more pain meds whatsoever. When I went for my one week check up, I walked into the doctors office almost straight! I had heard that was nearly impossible, but I managed, lol. I had a mardi gras ball to be at two weeks after my surgery, so I knew I would have to be able to stand up straight, and I did!
