Me now 2020
I’m happy I went ahead with the operation as I’m more conscious of my eating habits now.
I’m now 12st 11lb and I’m not losing anymore weight so I will focus on maintaining and exercise.
My observations regarding the band is that I struggle with bread, Chinese food and if I haven’t eaten in 4-5 hours I have to take my time to prevent discomfort/regurgitating food (this isn’t often).
I will try to get my band filled again at some point but right now I’m happy where I am.

Band Anniversay
Hi All,
Apologies for the delayed update but I’ve had a busy year.
Im currently 12st 9 at the moment as I started off at 15st. I’m not happy but pleased I’ve lost a bit. My goal is to be at around 9 and a half stone, 10st max as I want to get back to my happiest weight/size 8-10.
I’ve currently gotten 5ml in my band and that’s enough.
I’d suggest getting the band but do your research first and when it’s done chew a lot, take small bites and avoid pop. Best decision I made.
And if I decide to have kids in the future my band is for life!
I’ll continue to update every now and then.
