Horrible Jaw Reduction Revision in Korea

Very obnoxious, uneducated, and unprofessional Chinese staff. No discrimination here as I'm Chinese descend. I must mention this because they were working with me during the entire process. Korean staffs are very polite and professional. Surgeon is too busy for me. We meet twice, for total of 5 minutes, I'm not exaggerating. He wouldn't touch me to feel my tissue or bone structure the first time we met, he just looked at me and drew a line on my CT on the monitor and left the room. He felt my jaw on operation day. I didn't meet with the surgeon before the procedure because one of the lady's incompetence - the lady that was mainly working with me. She said she'll be responsible if anything happens, and what happened? Surgery was poorly performed, she didn't listen to what I told her. I ended up with a face looking like a drug addict.

I’m so sorry to hear. Maybe you still need time to heal hopefully and will improve...Where did you go and who was your surgeon?
I'm two months post op. I'll try to post a review later. I don't think it's going to improve because it's my bone that messed up with. They did not listen to me, and they didn't do anything I asked for. My face shape is very strange now. I went to Korea, the hospital is DOCTOR Do Dream (no space). They are horrible, they did not take my surgery seriously.
How are you feeling now? I actually think I have contact information for the actual owner of the do.dream clinic.
I got my implants removed and had a revision done for my face but with poor results. I don't know if contacting the owner would do anything.
Have you tried K-medi (helps you get damages for malpractice? all you need is a power of attorney to start the mediation process), I'm sorry this happened to you, I too had a botched surgery in Korea. (I'm suing April 31 clinic) I can give you some resources if you would like from my own experience so far. xo
I'm entirely discouraged from seeking help, my traumatic journey gives me a lot of anxieties and aged me a lot. I didn't seek go that route. How is your journey with the law suit and how far are you in? I wish everything works out for you. How long have you been working with our lawyer and how much do you have to pay? Please keep me updated.
Ok! I just started pursuing them legally, so I will keep you updated and let you know what happens. If you're feeling too traumatized to rehash details to your attorneys then I think you're right for waiting/not pursuing because you need time to heal emotionally. For me personally, getting my justice is part of my healing even if nothing ever comes of it. Hopefully my case works out so it gives you courage to get your damages paid for by the clinic that botched your surgery. They owe you for psychological distress as well, not just physical damages. (In Korea there is usually a flat rate you pay your lawyer according to one of my friends who is also in litigation in korea, but I will need to get some more details on that to give you a solid answer). xo
I hope everything works out or you. You are very brave and strong. Are you currently in Korea? What had gone wrong it's your surgery? I've heard unless the damage is very obvious to the eyes and you have functioning problems, it's not worth the stress because chances of winning is pretty much impossible, that's he main reason I gave up without even trying, not to mention the additional time and money having to spend there. Korean laws does not protect plastic surgery patients. I don't have a problem talking about my details with a lawyer if I could win my case, but I don't have faith in it. That's the reason why I didn't do anything, please let it discourage you, I really want you to win the case, you deserve your justice and they absolutely should compensate us patients' losses finally and emotionally. I could hardly move on with my life. It's been tWo years, I'm seeking temporary solutions before I can find a hopefully permeant solution to my problems.
Hi there
I went to Korea (BK Hospital) for sliding genioplasty, smas facelift, double chin lipo, buccal fat removal. I'm 22 days post op and my neck has hard bumps and is not even until now. I still have numbness on my chin and can hardly open my bottom lip. I'm scared the final result might not go too well on my end as well. How long did all your swelling go away?
Hi, I never had lipo done so I can't speak for that. It took 30-40 days for my swelling to go down, but it was back and forth. I wish you a smooth healing, be careful with what you eat. I had breast surgery done and my survey site was numb for over a year, if not longer, cause I don't remember exactly for how long.

So sorry to hear. How is everything now? Do you have photos?
The poor results are only more pronounced now.
What is the docotors name? Can you please provide some more details as there are many good reviews about South Korea

My review will be up shortly, I’ve been super depressed. I’ve tried to write the review, but I always withdrawn, because it only makes me feel worse.
hello, which hospital was it? I did unnecessary surgery in ID hospital Korea. Totally botched my face. Pushed me around to do the surgery lying it is something simple. Results are beyond horrible and now they are like so what??
DoDream clinic, they are horrible! Anyone sees this please avoid. I’m so sorry about what happened to you.... i stayed near ID and only went for a consultation. Are they going to do anything for you at all? DoDream wanted to fix my face but they over-cut the bone, they have NO skill to fix it but to ruin me even more!
Not at all. They are like whatever. I was told the surgeon is too busy doing "the surgery" so he can't respond over the phone. Can you imagine? how many more victims should be created before this madness stops
Hello I was checking back to see if you did any revision. My face got totally destroyed by ID hospital in Korea. Cut too much bone and made. Have you ever heard chin wing osteotomy?
Hi! Yes, I'm sorry for the pain you're going through. I had a revision but the results are not good at all, the clinic is sketchy and unethical. I avoided looking at discussions, chats, and related things because it only makes my life more difficult with worsened depression and anxiety. I almost went back o the same reconstruction surgeon because I'm too desperate, but several thing happened that prevented me from going, I think it's signals God sent me. So now I'm going to look into fillers before I find a good doctor. And no I don't know the surgeon you mentioned. Who is that?
