Hoping for Ultherapy results!

I’ve always had a double chin situation, even when I was young and very thin and it’s always made me feel extremely self conscious. I initially planned to do Kybella or CoolMini, but at my consultation they said I didn’t have enough fat and suggested I may get better results from Ultherapy. So, two weeks later I had the treatment and now I wait patiently for (hopefully) a pretty jawline and just the one chin.
The process itself took a little over one hour and the nurse who administered the treatment was fantastic. It was definitely uncomfortable, but certainly not intolerable. Some spots hurt a lot more than others and I’m sure it’s different for everyone. I would describe it as hot little electric shocks. My cheeks were a little red for the next hour, but I went right back to work no problem. I was a little sore under the chin for the next couple days, but no bruising or anything. I’ll post updates periodically.

Hi Hope you are recovering well. Can I please ask you who performed this? I’m in Toronto as well Thanks

Hi there! I’m not sure why it is showing me in Toronto. I live in Michigan and went to Ideal Image. Sorry for the confusion!

Hi, Thanks for sharing your experience. Although I don’t have any before and after photos, but I had 2 Ultherapy procedures done on my face and chin. It’s a total waste of money. Thank you so much for informing everyone....

These photos are from immediately after Ultherapy to show the mild redness, mostly on my cheeks.

I’m just about at the three month mark and wanted to share my progress. I’m still always scared of the “face melting” reviews, but I feel like I am starting to see some positive results! It’s very subtle, but I know this takes time and I may not get full results for another several months. Thanks for checking in!

Looking great but it really takes quite some time to see the result. Hopefully, you get the result you desire.

I’m just curious if you read the face melting reviews before you had this done? I only ask because you mentioned it in your review.

I hadn’t read them extensively. I figured with any kind of procedure, even something super routine like a skin peel, some people have negative results. The nurse I met with about ultherapy had it done a few years ago and she looked great. I was also thinking “hey if it’s good enough for Christie Brinkley, it’s good enough for me!” Of course, after I had the procedure I started reading ALL the reviews and got nervous. Thankfully, so far, I haven’t had any negative results, but also no positive results either. I would rather this be a wash and move on to another treatment than to have a horrible experience. Long story short, I wish I would have taken my time and gone to an actual plastic surgeon for a consultation before deciding what to do. Hopefully nothing bad happens and I still have that chance, unlike many other women on here.

for the amount of money you pay for the ultertherapy. which i have had done 4 times. never any real results that are really noticeable. best to do the real thing and have mini facelift. best results and same amount of money.

Did you continue to see any more results? I just completed my treatment and am really hoping I didn’t just waste all that money!
