Complications................ughh
Yesterday the nurse called me and said that Dr. Hedden did not feel comfortable performing both procedures at the same time due to my low blood platelet count (80s but should be at least over 100s). I am confident that he is making the best decisions for me so I'm not stressing. It is not convenient but he said that if my count stays the same or increases after the first procedure, he will perform the second one on Wednesday. So I'm having the tummy tuck on Thursday 23rd and BL BA on Wednesday, 29th. In between those procedures, I've got to go to my hemotologist office and get a blood transfusion of platelets.
2 Weeks Until the big day!
I just my pre-op appointment. I have Wolffe-Parkinson White Syndrome which is a heart condition but its not life threatening and so I must get clearance from my doctor. Just a hiccup. Hopefully my doctor will contact Dr. Hedden tomorrow. I still need to order my fajas and I am at a loss. I think I want to order Mareno brand. I sure would like any recommendations on what size to buy. I am currently a size 8.
It's really happening!
I've waiting for so long to have a mommy makeover and in one of my earlier post, I made a confession that I would have it done by the time I turned 50, well, I am one year late but not really because I pushed it back a year to get my gastric sleeve surgery. I lost 90 pounds and am in a size 8 now. I have alot of skin, especially my butt. I really need to get a BBL but that will have to wait. Dr. William Hedden is doing my mommy makeover. I scheduled it for Thursday, August 23rd. I went to my consultation and he told me that my old implants are probably ruptured by the way they looked and I have had many health issues over the years so I am excited about getting them removed. I'm getting a tummy tuck with muscle repair, breast explant/breast lift and breast aug. I also paid extra for the exparel pain management. I am now going to work on my list of things I need pre and post surgery. Anyone that has suggestions, please share.
