I had my breast augmentation with Dr. S, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. I haven’t always wanted a breast aug, but a few months ago I suddenly realized how much I looked like a 12-year-old boy with my petite figure and 32A size. And as time went on, it bothered me more and more. I started off my breast aug journey with a couple of consultations with different doctors. I did not feel a definite “yes this doctor is the one” until Dr. S. He took the time to answer all of my questions and more. He busted many of the myths/topics that I had researched online and gave me explanations that were backed up by science but in layman’s term so I could easily understand. There was not one piece of information he gave that made me think, “oh I’m not sure if what he’s saying is really true.” Whatever question or doubt I had, he gave off an easygoing attitude that enabled me to share freely and hold nothing back. Dr. S is intelligent, experienced, and modest. And he has a great sense of humor. From my consultation with Dr. S, it didn’t take more than 15 minutes for me to see that he is not only a doctor but also a person with a remarkable personality and life experiences. This made it very easy for me and my husband to connect with him, and having this level of comfort was very important for me in my doctor selection process. I immediately felt at ease in his presence and had a sense of trust in his expertise. All the office staff that I had interactions with - Sydni, Sue, Jenna, Amber, Diana - represented the clinic well and aligned with the high standards and friendliness I experienced with Dr. S. They are always quick to respond and flexible with accommodating requests. One of my biggest concerns with the procedure in general was going too big, as I’m very petite and didn’t want anything that was too out of proportion, but I also didn’t want something that looks so natural that the money is not well spent. Misguided by this fear, I was initially leaning towards a size that I now know would have been too small for me. But having seen the many reviews here and through my talks with Dr. S, I decided to trust his instinct and go with what he thought would look best on me, which was almost 100cc more than what I had originally wanted before the consultation. I am 5’5”, 100-105 lbs, and Dr. S went with 485/450cc highly cohesive full profile silicone. They’re the perfect size for me. Had I not trusted his advise, I would definitely be suffering from the notorious boob greed now. I am only two weeks post-op, but they have felt as though I’ve always had them since end of week 1. They have given me so much joy and confidence already that I cannot believe I haven’t done this years earlier. I started off with breast that were different in size and not aligned horizontally. Dr. S fixed both of those problems and now they’re beautifully symmetrical. He is an artist with a great sense of aesthetics but also has the attention to detail and meticulous technique to deliver the results we envisioned together for me. In terms of the recovery, the healing period was not nearly as bad as I expected based on what I’ve read. When I woke up after the surgery, I only felt like I had maybe done 300 push-ups the day before. I was able to stop the narcotic painkiller after day 2, though in all honesty I probably could have just gone with Tylenol on day 2 as well. I returned to my desk job without trouble on day 6. I would describe the healing process as more uncomfortable than painful. Many post-op visits to Dr. S took place in the weeks following the surgery, and I always felt that I was in good hands. The staff prepped me and my husband well for what needs to be done before and after surgery. I was given a spray to help get rid of bruises and oh man, did they work like magic! All in all, I am so happy to have chosen to go through this journey with Dr. S and his staff. These are definitely the people you want with you on this journey!
