Before my Mommy Makeover, I worked hard at being fit and staying in shape. I was healthy, but I did feel a disconnect with how much I worked out and how my tummy looked (especially with all the excess hanging skin). I finally feel my body is what it "should" look like. I haven't changed my exercise or diet (I work out and eat now the same way I did pre-op). I felt fit before, and now my tummy looks fit, as well :) Thanks Dr. S!

I am so glad I went with Dr. Schlesinger. I went to 3 consultations, and he was the most expensive. I thought about going the cheaper route, but everything else considered, I really wanted to go with Schlesinger. And at the end of the day, when you're talking surgery, you shouldn't put too much stock on price tag. You're putting your life into your chosen doctor's hands! There needs to be trust and confidence in his/her ability. Of course I did my research and read reviews on Schlesinger before my consult with him. From my experience, he has lived up to all the great reviews he garners. He is meticulous, a stickler to detail. He genuinely wants the best results for you. And he listens to you. The recommended range for breast implants that I was getting in the 3 consults I went to was 400-500 cc's. "Most women wish they went bigger," I was told. And while that may be the case, I was personally worried about being too top-heavy. I ended up requesting 365-415 cc's as my range. Day of surgery, I reiterated to doc that I trust his judgement, but that I leaned towards going the lower end of my requested range because I didn't want to end up feeling "too big." At the end of the day, he wants his patients to be happy. Day after surgery, he told me he would've gone with 415, but because of what I told him, he went with 385. I know that the bottom and top of that range doesn't look THAT different, but it made me feel good that he listened to me. And my boobs look fabulous!! I've been very happy with my post-op care. There was an area below my new belly button that doc was worried about (scarring), and so treated me to hyperbaric treatments to help resolve the issue. I don't know if I would have even noticed the scar, frankly; but now there's no scar to even try to notice! I have never felt rushed during my post-op appts ("there are no silly questions"), and I feel confident that he's looking out for my best results, no short-cuts. I'm already happy with how I'm looking, and I know it's just going to get better over the next few months. Can't wait! I made the right choice going with Dr. Schlesinger! From the beginning, I felt he and his staff were approachable and comforting. Well worth the wait times (feel bad I gave 3 stars on that). Just means he doesn't rush his patients, which is a good thing. He is well-reputed, and there's reason for that. Great doctor, great results!!
