My story: 40 year old mother who just had tummy tuck and breast augmentation

This experience has been unreal and shocking all at the same time! I never imagined anything going wrong! I never thought healing could take this long! The reality is I wanted to see results and change the way my body looked! I did not know that all this could occur! Even though you sign your life away and they tell you everything that can go wrong....I looked past that and I guess I thought it would not happen to me! I am thankful to Dr. Schlesinger because he has been super supportive and has not let me get a single infection through all of this! He has been compassionate and completely understanding! He has taken such good care of me through all the complications during this recovery period! To me that makes all of this worth it! Knowing I picked the right doctor for this makeover! Just remember not to lose yourself during the difficult times!

Took these photos this morning and as you can see the wounds are finally starting to shrink noticeably and I am feeling better about the whole decision for the tummy tuck and breast augmentation! For awhile I felt like a science experiment gone wrong! I am unfortunately a unfortunate percent of people that happened to have something go wrong! I did not think about the things that could go wrong all I could think about was me and what I wanted to see changed! This has been a long 4 months of up and downs! I live in Hawaii and have not been able to go to the beach or swim! I am hoping these wounds continue to progress quickly so I can get back to a normal life!

The wounds are still going so slow with healing and I am struggling with it big time! But finally my belly button is looking normal at almost 3 months post op
