I've always wondered about Lasik but never delved into it thinking it'd be too expensive or that i wouldn't be a "good candidate" because my astigmatism is so bad. Things have come a long way since then and when I went for my consultation with Dr Jenkins, another Dr (I'm sorry i don't remember your name) said i'd be a good candidate and then passed me along to Dr Jenkins who explained the process and what to expect during and after the surgery. I'm so excited. I can't wait to wake up and be able to see without searching for my glasses. Something some people really take for granted for sure.

I moved my date up

I called to see if they could move my surgery date up and they had a cancellation so it was perfect! They even called my eye doctor to make sure I could adjust appointments with them to keep on track. I'm really excited to finally be able to see without my glasses.

pre-op appointments & lasik tomorrow!

triponastar99
My Pre-op appointments went well. They said I have dry eyes so they have started me on artificial tears which I keep forgetting to take. Which reminds me, I have to take these other drops every 4 hours and I left them at home (i'm at work). sigh. I'll be back.. Lasik tomorrow! So exciting!
