After giving birth to 3 children in 4 years (a little later in life) my husband and I started researching breast reduction/reconstruction/augmentation. I have had issues with fibrous tissue and benign lumps for 20 years but put the surgery on hold until after I was done breastfeeding!

Initially I had sticker shock. I wasn't looking at a simple procedure and I was prepared for the invasive nature but not the cost. It has been worth every cent! The lumps are gone (and were checked for any abnormal cell activity), my breasts are now perky, natural looking for my size, my nipples are smaller and positioned so they aren't low and pointing down, much more attractive, and the scarring can not be seen in a string bikini (and it is fading all the time, I'm 3 months post op)

In addition to giving my husband and I some emotional relief by having the lumps removed, we are also both in a much better place physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I had to quit nicotine (still used the patch and vaping until Dr. Schlessinger insisted I quit in order for him to perform the surgery) and my husband stopped using nicotine with me. We quickly started to gain weight and have countered that with working out together which has improved our emotional and physical health immensely

Dr. Schlesinger is both an expert and an artist. I honestly don't know how he was able to do the amount of work on my breasts that he did and know exactly how my chest would rest, so that I could still wear a string bikini with no scars showing from the reduction and lift after just 2 /12 months. I am extremely happy with his work and glad my husband and I chose him to do it. Dr. Schlesinger would not compromise on the quitting nicotine in order for him to perform surgery...it's the first time I've had nicotine completely out of my system since I was a teenager..25 years! Though painful (I wasn't very nice for a few weeks and I gained 15 lbs.), my husband and I did it together and ended up gaining on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. We feel so good. We are working out in the evenings in our garage once the kids are in bed and gaining both that physically good high and quality time together ALONE. We absolutely love the togetherness we have gotten and it is greatly attributable to Dr. Schlessinger. The wait time you experience with Dr. Schlesinger seems to be one of those sacrifices that have to be made. He takes care of all of his patients and sees them as frequently as they require post op and after. I did not expect the amazingly frequent and attentive level of care post op that I had and continue to have though it was conveyed that the cost included all of this, I kind of assumed it was lip service. Quick personal narrative on why the time doesn't bother me much. Often times my visits only take a few minutes with him (with a wait time of 1/2 hour to an hour) but during a staycation, I had a sebaceous cyst appear out of no where on my face and it was the size of a quarter. (Note: I'll be writing a review for that separately) I knew I needed to set an appointment with my primary care physician to get a referral to a dermatologist and that the process what going to end up taking many, many hours to have it possibly removed a month or so down the road unless something bad happened and it took me to the ER! Dr. Schlesinger immediately saw it (hard to miss, it was so BIG and on the side of my nose) and said he'd take care of it without it coming back. He not only took care of it during that office visit, but there was no need for sutures and no scar left (I'll post pictures with the review) . I really can't explain how impressive that was and that he just "took care of it", outstanding. I know it set back his appointments by about 20 minutes but it saved me countless hours of time, juggling kids, and $ spent. I have no issue with the wait times at his office :-) but they do exist and from my experience with good reason.
