After giving birth to 3 children in 4 years (a little later in life) my husband and I started researching breast reduction/reconstruction/augmentation. I have had issues with fibrous tissue and benign lumps for 20 years but put the surgery on hold until after I was done breastfeeding!
Initially I had sticker shock. I wasn't looking at a simple procedure and I was prepared for the invasive nature but not the cost. It has been worth every cent! The lumps are gone (and were checked for any abnormal cell activity), my breasts are now perky, natural looking for my size, my nipples are smaller and positioned so they aren't low and pointing down, much more attractive, and the scarring can not be seen in a string bikini (and it is fading all the time, I'm 3 months post op)
In addition to giving my husband and I some emotional relief by having the lumps removed, we are also both in a much better place physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I had to quit nicotine (still used the patch and vaping until Dr. Schlessinger insisted I quit in order for him to perform the surgery) and my husband stopped using nicotine with me. We quickly started to gain weight and have countered that with working out together which has improved our emotional and physical health immensely
