Two days post
Aloha! Today is Monday morning which officially makes it day 3 after surgery. But I'll call it fully day two. I feel amazing.
Dr. Healy and his staff are excellent, if you are debating having breast augmentation on Oahu, take the time to meet him. You won't be disappointed.
I only took pain meds my first day home once the anesthesia wore off. Since then I've been on antibiotics and an occasional extra strength Tylenol. I also took the suggestion of a few other Real Self members and started my post op supplements which include: B12, vitamin E, milk thistle, multivitamins, tons of prune juice, and water.
I went into surgery extremely anxious and nervous that I wouldn't be able to function without support or take care of my children: 6, 4, and 1.5 year old. But they've been great and we enjoyed Easter with mommy not on the couch!
I'm so glad I went with Dr. Healy, I believe his skill and knowledge have made this recovery so easy! I know everyone has different pain tolerance, and I'm typically a wimp ;)
So thank you Dr. Healy, Jackie, and your wonderful team!! You have been amazing!! Now I just have to relax and find things to do that don't include Crossfit :(

So I did it!! Had surgery this morning with Dr. Healy. Let me say that he and his staff are absolutely, hands down, amazing. I went in slightly nervous and each person that met me helped to calm my nerves. Jackie was so sweet and caring, his nurse, absolutely wonderful. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Lu (I think) was so informative and sweet. I wasn't nervous one bit after meeting with everyone.
Dr. Healy was phenomenal, we didn't even discuss size or profile. I trusted him 100% and know that he made the right choice according to our consults and my wish pics.
I'm home, on the couch, trying to keep three children under 6 at bay ;). Not a lot of pain just huge amounts of pressure and some pain on the sternum. I'm all tucked away, like most women, post surgery, but I believe he fit 400ccs in there.
Will post pics when I can!!

SURGERY booked!!
Holy crap it's really happening, a lot sooner than I thought too!
Was originally planning to go in mid-April, but we just signed on a house and have to move from Hawaii sooner than expected. So the sooner I have surgery, the more follow up opportunities I have.
So now my surgery is at the end of next week, 12 days!!!!! Any and all advice on what to do to prepare, vitamins, supplements, diet, would love to hear! Mahalo!

Met Dr. Healy earlier this week and he was so kind and patient! He didn't sway us in any direction but educated us on all the different incision options and implant styles. Also met Jackie and tried a few sizers on. They made us feel like Ohana "family" and that was so nice!
