A few weeks short of 6 months, pretty much settled
WORTH IT$8,500
This sure has been an adventure! Now that my boobs are at their intended destination, i feel like they were always a part of my body. I didn't realize how much this would change my outlook on life, but Im so glad I did it. In addition to my BA, i have gained confidence that i never knew existed and strive to be healthier and happier.

after some deep thought, im leaving it as-is
I decided I'm going to stick with my 500ccs instead of asking for 600s if and when I do my adjustment for fixing my nipples. With higher ccs I dont want to risk capsular contracture or worry about accelerated sagging. What changed my mind is when finally got a bra and realized that even the lightest padding magnified my bust. I really need to get my head out of my butt and realize that my breasts don't need anymore adjustments other than my nipple height. I still wouldn't mind getting more aesthetic procedures done later, but for now, I need to focus on healing properly from this one. Whew, thanks for letting me vent ladies!

rain on my parade (with silver linings)
So within the last week or so I've noticed my right side acting up (getting firm and higher than my left). I went in for my 9 week post op and PS confirmed the dreaded cc--capsular contracture! I've been on accolate this entire time but it goes to show that even being careful won't exempt you from what your body deems alien. I also talked to my PS about the position of my nipples being a bit too low and that my tuberous breast issue was the cause of that. Plan b is to do the benelli lift and to cut and cinch them up to its proper position. I also talked to the patient coordinator Jenna (whom I adore), and she said upgrading it to 600cc when the doc does the lift would be a piece of cake! In the meantime, Im going in for ultrasound treatment to soften that boob up. I'm actually kind of excited at the prospect of bumping up my boobage!

Oh no, I'm sorry you have to go through this again. When do you do it? Do you have to pay again? Are you ok? What size do you have now? It is cool that you get to go up to 500 cc though. I am scheduled with Dr.S for July I am getting 650cc I'm nervous and so excited at the same time. I really hope everything goes well for you next time around and you get the results you were hoping for. Keep me posted
Thank you for your support, but Im totally ok with the result. I really have peace of mind since dr. S will not let me leave his office without 100% satisfaction. I was fully disclosed as to the risks and additional work necessary so its not a hassle for me. This cost to go back in will be fairly minimal (have to pay the anesthesiologist) but i think my case is different from most peoples with my tuberous breasts. Yours will turn out great and you are in the hands of a true artist! Good luck on your journey to boobdom!
Oh thank you, and I'm so glad your feeling so positive. I did see in your past posts that you always knew this was a possibility! Good luck and happy healing the second time around as well
hi!! so im super glad u get to go bigger!! but really bummed u have cc :( what does it feel like?? I'm trying to get my right side soft too :p but i've already set a date in july to go bigger...do u know when u will be going back in? :) excited for both of us :)
oh! and did he say if you have to go through the nipple? or armpit again? i wish i could go through the armpit again lol but he said most likely through the nipple :p
We havent set a date but I definitely want it done soonest. He is going to have to go through the nipple since he has to do the benilli lift and it cuts up the nipple already. Jenna told me 100ccs up is the minimum i should go up since 50ccs wont make a difference. Im doing ultrasound with Jenn on my right side to soften up the cc. Congrats on getting your upgrade surgery set! Sooooo happy for you!
thank you!! good luck with yours as well and def keep us up to date :)))
so because you have the cc and tuberous breasts he is covering all costs except the anesthesia? Well that's pretty awesome!!!! Sorry you have the cc, but kinda seems like a blessing in disguise. If my revision were to be covered, I'd also wouldn't be that upset and would totally go for larger implant!
Oh... And you said no pain or discomfort, just tightness... Both of mine are tighter than I'd expect, but also soft... If that makes sense? I'm concerned about it though as my left is still giving me issues. Does it feel lighter like when they would spasm or something different all together?
It really is a firmness to the touch and nothing else. One will always be stubborn, or in my case switch off when it finally fluffs on one side! I'm not sure if my PS will cover all the cost for adjustments, but Im not looking at more than a couple thousand altogether if I remember the original quote correctly. As long as its soft I think youre in the clear. You look amazing though!
ahhhh, cc!! I read your comments and you seem to be handling it well tho. thank god we have such a great PS!! I'm so worried about cc too....last night I did some cleaning, laundry, dishes and got really tight in my chest and it worries me. ugh, Im only 10 days post op and I really need to start listening to my body. do you know what may have caused it? when do you go back in?
Thanks for your encouragement! Im actually in the office right now waiting for jennifer to do my ultrasound lol! I have like 5 appointments of ultrasound before I see dr.s next. Its not too bad but hopefully it'll get "baby soft" like my friend who got herd done right after me. Please take it easy and do less :) enjoy your time off!

Hi girl :) they look great. Would you feel comfortable sharing a photo of the scar now that some time has passed? I'm trying to decide whether to get under arm or under breast. Thank you sooo much, Lin
