Well I guess its not broken after all maybe it was the outlet or bad cable palcement I don't know.

I'll be doing the second round later today and will post pictures. This time I'm also doing my whole face and using vitamin c for the dark spots and hyper pigmentation.

Hello I would like to bring to your attention that you are actually not using th Dermapen at all, you are using a counterfeit needling device from China, the actual Dermapen is made in Australia and the name Dermapen is a trademarked name to that device that should, not be confused with these types of inferior Chinese copies.

Second round

Hi girls
Unfortunately my dermapen broke. I can’t get it to work, I googled a bit and it turns out that box is from a fake MyM dermapen the original box it’s quite different and the only place you can by the original one it’s at the MyM website.
I guess I’ll have to purchase a new one but for now I can’t deal with this cause I’m too stressed out cause I have 2 comestível surgeries in less than 5 weeks.
The photos of the original kit attached.

I just purchased one from amazon - Dr Pen $122.00. And 36 needle cartridges from Groupon, 12 for $22
I saw a video of a girl making a review for the brand and she was explaining the original is only sold by the brand but maybe they turned around and decided they should get it on amazon too cause amazon is a giant. Mine is broken and for the time being I won’t be getting a new one. I have to much on my plate right now. But in all honesty that one session I did changed my stretch marks. I’d 100% recommend it with my eyes closed

Hi realsef users!

I didn't plan nor want to make this review but I was compelled to do so because of the results I had.
Let me tell you a bit of my story:
I started seeing my first stretch marks on my outer thighs, they extended from my hips to the middle of my thighs, when I was 11 maybe 12 years old, it was the consequence of me growing too much too fast, on my school pictures from the 5th to the 7th grade I towered over everybody in my class, boys and girls and was almost as tall as the teachers. That took a tool on my body. First I tried hydrating my skin with almond oil to give it more elasticity but it didn't help so overtime I just stopped caring about it and from that age on I'd always feel self conscious when wearing a bikini.
I pretty much gave up of ever being able to make them look at least a bit better than they were.
Recently the derma roller popped up on my radar but for some reason I didn't get one. This year in August I decided to try the derma pen, i thought about having it professionally done but the it didn't make sense since the device itself was only 30-60 dollars and I would be able to use it for life whereas if i went to a professional they'd charge me 30 dollars per session.
I did a little investigation and found a way to do it, these were the recommendations:

1- Always read the instructions on the derma pen box before ensemble the pen
There is a button for speed and you can also select needle depth or length, the needles are disposable and you can choose from 3 up to 36 needles, I used the 12 needles head but the next few times I'll use the 36 needles head

2- clean the area to be treated throughly (you don't want any dirt where you are about to make tiny holes were bacteria can go and cause you an infection), I washed the area with soap and water and then cleaned it with 96% alcohol

3- select the speed and the length of the needle according to the area you want to treat and the purpose (I used the second lowest speed and 0,6mm length or depth since it was the first try)
This was the first time i used it so i didn't want to use numbing creams cause if i happen to hurt myself i wouldn't feel it, i have a PRETTY HIGH pain tolerance so it was a brease for me

4- you are supposed to do it in three motions: a) 3/4 diagonal down up, b) horizontally and c) vertically from down up

5- you should use some cream or gel so the needles can glide on, some use vitamin a, vitamin c, HGF, i used hyaluronic acid cause i have dark skin and i think using vitamin a right after a cut or puncture would've definitely burnt me
don't take too long on a single area cause it might be damaging to the skin

6- use a calming mask after the derma pen (i learnt that one the hard way cause i had a bit of inflammation on one side after the treatment that went on for 2 days)

7- use a calming cream the following two days after the treatment, and for the next several days i used a lot of collagen cream to stimulate collagen production,

6 days later the skin started to peel of and i kept hydrating it. I didn't see any results until 30 days after the treatment but boy the results were great. My stretch marks are thicker on the top of my thighs and gradually get smaller as you go down, the smaller ones are now not even noticeable, they are now tiny tiny things like a pencil stroke. The margins of the bigger parts on top have shrunk and they "blend" better with my wealthy skin

I plan to do as many treatments as it takes to make them look good but I'm going to tackle one area at time, first I'll finish my thighs and after I'll do my buttocks, if you ask me why i don't do both the same time its cause first takes too long to finish one session cause i have long thick legs and a big butt and second the inflammation afterwards is something i don't want to deal with it all over my thighs and butt at the same time cause it doesn't hurt but its uncomfortable.

Today is the day I'll do another treatment so I guess I'll post pics of that and keep posting my progress.

First treatment went REALLY REALLY well.
