Sleeves on May 20th, 2013 and lost 57 lbs 5'5 237 SW .. I went down to 180. I am back up to 206 today. Never had restrictions and my GERD was worse than never before. I went to see Dr. Goyal in Hoboken, NJ who sent me for an endoscopy and found that there was a pouch left over from the initial surgery, that basically prevented me from feeling any restriction, if anything it made my GERD acid reflux much much worse. In order to repair this I have to undergo the Gastric Bypass Surgery. If you want to know the reasons why I gained back some of the weight I loss... I was living with my partner and throughout the end of last year he left our home... I lost it, the person who was once so active, motivated and happy became depressed, suicidal and needed help. I'm at a happy place once again, I'm nervous about the bypass but looking forward to it.! My surgery was approved based on the endoscopy and I will be having the procedure done 9-7-16
