I will be a returning patient of Dr. Shifrin's

update

I am almost 5 weeks post op and had to get extra fluid drained on thursday. I feel MUCH better afterwards and can move around more freely now. Connie was so sweet and informative and said I may need to come in once or twice more for drainage. I am SO happy it was just fluid. It made it difficult to see how it actually looks and it was so uncomfortable on my one side. It also doesn’t help that it’s not a common procedure yet so I was unsure how I was supposed to look at whichever stage of healing. Im going to try to possibly go in next week because I don’t know what the next few weeks/months are looking like with the virus.. I kinda lucked out with timing for surgery as I think it would’ve been a major struggle going back to work+school after 2 weeks. the recovery still is wayyy easier than butt implants but being able to read reviews for them alleviated a lot of anxiety. I was able to care for myself after the 2nd day. butt implants I could’ve used someone for weeks :O 100% worth it though! those that are asking for pics— i will post when swelling has gone down :)

Are your implants very hard? I got mine done by a different doctor and they feel extremely hard and unnatural, everybody who grabs onto me says so. I can literally put my hand underneath them like they’re a disk because they’re apparently under fascia and not under muscle. Do you have this problem with your implants?
Whattt. This may change my choice on getting up implants... do you not recommend?
they are right now because it's still so soon. i still have to get more fluid drained out as well. my butt was hard for a long time but now it feels pretty natural! i'm sure in time it'll soften up?
Do you live in Chicago? Because you said 5 weeks you went back for the draining. Only asking because I’m planning to fly in from Miami so I’m trying to see how long to stay there
i do! i don't see you needing to stay longer than a week. i'm sure if you had a minor problem you could go somewhere at home
you look amazing!! how big did you get your implants?
How much were your hip implants?

swelling

i’m almost 4 weeks post op and i’m still very swollen towards the bottom of the implants. I’ve done all the right things arnica, bromelain, ice, elevation, and eating very healthy! I’m going to call tomorrow to see if everything is okay and if I can come in sooner. hopefully it’s just fluid.

surgery and post-op went well :)

the recovery isn’t nearly as bad as butt implants but positioning is difficult. super swollen now but will post pics soon! so far looks like Dr. Shifrin matched the wish pics I showed him :) the staff was great as always and the anesthesiologist was very comforting and informative!

Pls post pics!!! So interested! I can’t wait to go to him
i'm too swollen still !! i will :)
Did you get butt implants with him as well?
i did! he did awesome!
Please as soon as you can post pictures , how much did you pay for your hips . That's is on my wish list. Thank you we appreciated you share with us your experience.
For sure!!!
There is no way that I would get these because so many women get Breast Implant Illness and butt implants are even bigger so the illness would likely to be worse.
