WORTH IT
I had implants put in and was very happy with them until I discovered they were pip-I was sadly not informed that implants didn't last for life!!!my surgeon says I will be felt and droopy without a lift but I don't want extra scars or to lose sensitivity.because they are pip they are being removed on the nhs.so no charge.i don't want to endure any more unnecessary surgeries -so no replacement.i can currently a 34 dd/e .pre implant I was a saggy 36c(may have been wearing wrong size) I have lost weight so will have to see what they are like after.i have 330 cc implants.my hubby of 25 years is all for me being healthy and happy and will love me however I look.i know from looking in this site sort if what I can expect and even if they look sad naked I know in the correct bra they will look ok.very nervous for Monday-not too long to wait now

I also was just informed that implants did not last a lifetime. If I had known this, I would not have gone thru the pain and complications of having this surgery. It would be nice if drs would inform you of such facts BEFORE you choose.

I agree!! They assume we know the proper questions to ask. Somehow feel they get paid good money and need to be accountable

Can I ask how you found out that the implants were PIP.
My implants are 30 years old and I just don't know if mine are safe or not. As can't remember who put them in and advice would be welcome.
Good luck you are already looking great hope you are starting to love the new you, I think you look amazing.

When I was in the news about them I rang the place where I had them put in and they checked and confirmed.they did do a free ultrasound to check was ok-I was ok for a couple of years after that then decided to look into replacing them to be safe then found they didn't last a life time-so time for them to go altogether.i do love the new me(more so when in a bra than out!!) everything feels and looks so much better! Hi sending you warm wishes for your explant. I'm in exactly same position as you - am 3 days post op and doing just great. No lift just explant and so happy with the results- you won't be droopy and unhappy with results as I've learned through this fantastic site that most women gain so much confidence through. Yes they're somewhat smaller but I'm silicone free and they look pretty much like my pre implant size of 32 b or maybe now 34 b not sure yet. Try not to worry I know how hard it is. All the lucid dreams will stop as will the anxiety and tension that you'll have felt lately. Sending you a hug xx

That's so kind-think I will be around 34 b as well xx

Hi well you look just great.. I'm now 1 week post explant and very happy. I didn't have drains but have some considerable pain in one breast. Do,you have pain? I'm taking co codamol which works well for a while. You look just great- are you suprised that you're not droopy ? I was as like you I'd had the large implants in for years. Good luck with your recovery and take it easy. X

Hi-I'm in no pain.thought they would be more droopy.really surprised how skin shrunk back straight away.hoping to accept them more when wearing a more supportive bra x
