Highly Skilled, Detailed, Honest, Patient, and Caring Surgeon - Lip Lift
After some extensive research online I found that a very few plastic surgeons around the country actually specialize in Lip Lifts - Dr. Pearson is one of them. So I decided I would just go for a consultation to see if I even was a good candidate for this procedure. Before I start, let me just tell you that I’m a perfectionist, pay attention to every detail, do my research and am not easily convinced.
Dr. Pearson to my surprise, not only did not rush me (which is unheard of with doctors these days!) but instead patiently listened to my questions & concerns, answered all my questions and addressed my concerns (such as potential visible scarring, change in smile etc.) in the most professional, honest way and told me to think about it and let him know if I had any other questions. At no point did I feel that Dr. Pearson or his office staff tried to convince me to move forward with the procedure nor tried to interest me in any other services - they were all very professional and helpful.
I decided to proceed with a lip lift with Dr. Pearson, and can honestly tell you that I was under great care from pre-surgery all the way to now 6 weeks post surgery!
Dr. Pearson was very gentle and caring throughout the surgery (which was approx 1 hour) and made sure I was comfortable. He also checked in with me daily to make sure I was feeling ok, and if I had any questions. During the follow up appointments Dr. Pearson was as patient and caring. I highly recommend him!
It’s now been 6 weeks post surgery and I’m very happy with the results.
Here are some before and after pics (4 weeks post surgery).

Hello!
Thank you for your kind words :)!
Dr. Pearson is indeed a master at his craft. I am very lucky to have found him and would recommend him to anyone considering a lip lift or any other facial plastic surgery procedures; because he is an experienced and honest surgeon and can give you an honest opinion with pros and possible cons of any procedure and then it’s up to you to decide what’s best for you without feeling any pressure :).

You look so good! Beautiful result. Was the incision under your nostrils? Can’t even see it. Did he touch the muscle at all or was it skin only?
Hi LAGirl!
Thank you for the kind words :)!
Because of the shape of my nostrils, it allowed part of the incision to be hidden closer to the inside of my nostrils which means part of it is not visible on the outside. Regarding touching the muscle I’m not 100% certain what exactly Dr. Pearson did in my case so I don’t want to give you misleading information (but ofcourse I asked him the same question :)). I believe some ‘tension’ was released from the muscle to avoid putting too much pressure on the skin, however I don’t believe the muscle was cut/touched the same way some other surgeons may do which typically has a longer healing process, more swelling, and could potentially affect your natural smile/lip movement in some cases. If you are considering a lip lift, I highly suggest you see Dr. Pearson for a consultation at least and he can provide you with more accurate details :).
Before I decided to go for a consultation, I researched this online and tried to find videos (not just still pictures) of people who’ve had lip lifts to see if their lip movement seems awkward/different, after couple of months post procedure (since naturally the first 1-2 months you will have some ‘pulling’ and swelling so it’s hard to judge) :)
I hope this was helpful. Good luck!

Mine now a year after surgery looks like a very fine light (whitish) line right under my nose (no texture nor raised), and most don’t notice it. I easily cover it with little concealer.
One year post surgery, you can also try permanent makeup camouflage, where an expert in scar camouflage will cover scar with a skin tone pigment (you may need to do 2-3 sessions), once your scar has healed etc.
