I Highly Recommend Dr. Gilpin for Your Rhinoplasty!!!

For several years I wanted to have a rhinoplasty. As I have gotten older I felt like my bulbous tip had gotten larger and felt really uncomfortable how I looked in pictures. I also felt like my nose looked wide and droopy. Last year I went to a different plastic surgeon, but left with more questions than answers. I felt really uneasy and ended up cancelling my surgery. A few months went by and I found Dr. Gilpin through Real Self. I read his incredible reviews that were recent and loved all the before and after pictures on his website, so I set up an appointment. I went in to the appointment with my mind set (because of my last experience) that I was just going to talk to him, but I would not set a surgery date. BUT, after I met his incredible staff and Dr. Gilpin, and knowing he specialized in facial plastic surgery, I had complete peace and confidence that he was going to do an incredible job and give me the results I was wanting. He let me know exactly what he could and couldn't do, explained how those results would happen, took photos and did an imaging on his iPad to give me an idea of what the results would be. I set up my surgery date and to be honest I felt a little nervous, but way more excited, because I had full confidence Dr. Gilpin knew what he was doing and trusted him. AND I'M SO GLAD I DID!! After surgery the third day was definitely when I was the most swollen and had some bruising, but it was all worth it when Dr. Gilpin took the bandages off a week later!

Dr. Gilpin had taken my nose in on the sides (where it is now even with the ends of my eyes and doesn't look so wide), evened out the sides of my nose, brought the tip of my nose up (where it wasn't so droopy), defined my bulbous tip, and filled the indention in my nose in my side profile. And if you can believe it - my nose looks so NATURAL!!! I've been around family members, close friends, and not one person has said anything.The fact he completely changed my nose and it still looks so natural is unbelievable. The only reason I'm so glad I waited to have a rhinoplasty is because I found Dr. Gilpin to perform the surgery. The pictures are two weeks post surgery, so my nose is still swollen, but I'm already loving the results and also loving the process!

I would also like to say that as a strong Christian, when I first wanted to have a rhinoplasty, I had feelings of guilt. But, I prayed about this decision and had peace that I know my confidence is in Christ - not in my outward appearance. I wanted a rhinoplasty to help me feel better in pictures and I have absolutely no regrets and no feelings of guilt. In fact I feel really proud and I'm already so use to this new nose that I've forgotten what it used to look like. I appreciate Dr. Gilpin and his staff for making me feel so comfortable during this entire process. If you are looking to have a rhinoplasty, I highly recommend Dr. Gilpin!!!
