I had the procedure yesterday Dec 1st. It seemed to have gone well. Getting the local put into my gums by far the worst part! So far I am happy. I have iced the area ALOT. I have been taking Bromelain since yesterday. My follow up is Friday ( 3 days from now ) I am anxious to see how it looks by then.

This will sound horrible, but I don't know for sure. I spoke with the Dr. About it and he should me on my face. I was happy with our conversation and with what I saw. Even though it is still tender and sore, I am super happy :)

I did lip lift just today it was genral ensteshya .. No swelling at all only numbness in my lower lip .. I dont know why .. Doc didnt touch lower lip.. Did ur doc gave u any medication?

Wierd...I never felt anything on the bottom. Even when my face is pretty swollen the first day through the third day, my bottom lip never was affected. I took Tylenol with codeine in it the first and second day.

The only thing I can think of is if he did a nerve block on the inside of your mouth with injections? If not, I do not understand why your lower lip would be numb. My lower lip was slightly numb in the middle temporarily, but I had a lower lip lift internally.

My stitches still feel tight. My upper lip is still swollen and it is hard to smile. But I also had to have my frenum removed as well so I a have stitches underneath and on top so maybe that's why there's extra tightness there. I am still just eating sausage. Keeping my head elevated. And lots of Neosporin. I haven't taken any type of pain medication today I feel I don't need it.

Hi, tightness is normal and will slowly get better every month. It can take up to a year for some to completely resolve (from reading other's experience on this site_. I am 5 months post lip lift and have slight tightness, but only when I smile REALLY wide. You look great and will love it after scar heals up!
