This was my third or fourth Hifu session at Dr Tan's clinic

This was my third or fourth Hifu session at Dr Tans clinic and it just seems that every time it gets slightly better. I have hifu once or twice a year for maintenance and it’s the little things that count. The little plastic bag that is given to me for my face mask, cleansing prior to the treatment, the light massaging afterwards. Obviously the place is also impeccable too. It’s the little things and the high professional standards that go beyond what you would expect that make me always return here.

HIFU Review

Every 4-6 months I tend to get some “maintenance” work done. I had done a lot of research, saved up money and had decided to get Ultherapy done. I knew that my mother wanted to get a mini lift and had advised her against it and convinced her to get the same procedure done.
I know this is supposed to be a HIFU review, but please bear with me as I continue…
Upon consultation of my doctor Dr. Terence Tan, from Halley Medical Aesthetics, suggested the less aggressive HIFU and gave my mother Ultherapy, which you can read about on a separate review.
He thought that I did not need such a strong treatment and that after a few months, if I was not happy, he would gladly treat me with Ultherapy. As HIFU was far less expensive, it did not take much convincing… Apart from that, he is the Doctor so in reality you should always listen to their advice.
Anyhow, after consultation a nurse washed my face and applied numbing cream first so as to mitigate the … It is not like a sting, more like a dull ache that the machine produces… There were a couple of points that did hurt (a lot) but… well, I didn’t want to wimp out so I just clinched my fists and carried on.
There was no immediate difference afterwards and I took some pictures a couple of days afterwards but by then my skin had started to glow. I have compared the pictures taken at the 3 month period. To be honest, the difference was a lot more than I expected.
A couple of months have past now and I now plan on getting HIFU again, which sort of confirms how happy I am with the effects and with my experience at Halley Medical Aesthetics Singapore.
I guess as with all things, it is who operates the machine and not the machine itself… I would also recommend that if you are going to get a procedure done, do it with a family member or friend as I have done in the past… It just makes the experience so much more enjoyable!
