Had Full TT on May 31st 2013 and so disappointed UGH. 7 years ago before I got pregnant I weight 130lbs the day I gave birth I was 206 so with a 76lb gain at 5 ft tall u can imagine how disgusting I felt. I was so ready to get out of those yoga pants and put on a pair of blue jeans so, With alot of hard work, determination, and 7 yrs later I was pretty much down to my pre baby weight but with alot of extra skin. I had already decided at year 5 I was going to go through with surgery and saved every penny I could to have the surgery. FINALLY after two years of saving it was time. I went in for my consultation with Dr. Swank of Hickory, NC I had done my research for years now so I knew exactly what I wanted and what I wanted my results to be. I told him that my main concern was my sides and could not wait to wear a pair of blue jeans. I told him with the research I had done and pictures I had reviewed that I thought I needed a full extended TT with lipo to the flanks and back but he said he didn't feel that way at all that he thought he could give me the results I wanted with just a full TT and no lipo because I didn't have a whole lot of fat. Well, after almost 5 months post op I was exactly right it is obvious that I needed exactly what I said because I still have the huge love handles and loose skin on my flanks UGH so depressing. Ohhh did I mention I am still wearing the yoga pants and still NO blue jeans. So, I go in for a follow up today and told him I was unhappy with the results and wanted to have it corrected and done the way I wanted it in the first place and now I am going to have to go though another surgery, take more time off work, and pay more money. Little did I know he is going to charge me 5000 more dollars to extend the TT, lipo the flanks and back. HMMMM do I think I should have to pay that kind of money for result of a TT im not happy with and doing a second surgery exactly the way I said I thought I needed the first time? Absolutely not!!!!! Someone please tell me I am right for feeling this way and give me some info on what I should do from here.

No he wants to charge the additional
$1500 to extend the TT, $2800 for Lipo of the flanks and back, $600+ for facility fee, and $400+ for the surgical tray. I was willing to pay for both of those services the first time and I understand he has to pay for the anesthesiologist, staff, and supplies but I do not feel he should charge me for his services especially when those things should have been performed the first time to get the results we talked about and I even told him I thought I needed both of those and he told me that I would want to have some curves and not want to look like a log and could perform a full TT only and no lipo so its his miss judgement and not mine

I went for a consultation to get work done on my breast. Surgery for cancer did not look too well. Boy! He was a B-- H---. He wanted to put really large implants in me and I told him I didn't want to look like there were two grapefruits. He storm out like a bull. I had to yell, "Thank you Dr. Swank! He was already down the hall.

You should at least take the time and get a second opinion from another PS. The costs may be about the same. If you are already disappointed with his work, you may always be critical of any work he does. Trust your gut!!!

Oh yes girl I am most definitely going to get other PS opinions. The thing is he did my breast Aug a couple years ago an I love those result. I jus don't understand y he is charging me so much for his mistakes. I have given him over 10 grand on past procedures so I def think he is being unfair with his decision :(

put on your faja get some lymph massages and see if it is just swelling...your skin may not readhere properly. look at the girls in the fajas there skin looks better or try a gurtle

Yea it's def not swelling.. Those pics were from my last follow up where he drawed on me showing what he needed to cut out a second time. I am a massage therapist and have had several lymphatic massages and nothing :(
