Pre Op/6 week post op comparison

I feel better and better every day! The swell hell is no joke but even that seems to be reducing daily. I'm tired of wearing the compression garments but they are definitely doing there job. I have a post op appointment tomorrow. I have developed a lump on my right breast and looking forward to the peace of mind tomorrow's appointment will bring. Praying it is nothing major! My dr is going to watch the lump. He doesn't think it is anything serious. Just means more post op appts. He thinks it's probably fluid and I hope he's right.

Good deal! Hope it just absorbs. A lot goes on with the boobs because they are part of the lymphatic system, so he's probably right--most likely nothing to worry about!
Wow I read all your post you inspired me to hold on until my date in May . How long did it take for the constipation to go away? Why didn't you take a laxative while taking the pain meds? I thought that would have you go .
I had been taking stool softeners but didn't take any laxative until it was desperately needed. I should have taken them sooner but I really dislike the cramping it causes and was trying to avoid any additional discomfort.

5 weeks post op update

Life has quickly returned back to normal. I cannot believe how quickly I have reached this point. I am still taking it easy and following my doctors orders but I could not be happier with my results!!! Dr.Siciliano and his nurse, Teresa, have been amazing. My swelling is slowly decreasing, I definitely have worse swelling at the end of a work day. My right side is definitely more swollen and tender than anywhere else but even that is slowly improving every day. I'm still not allowed to wear a regular bra but I am anticipating that next step in the healing process and can't wait to get sized.

You look great! I'm not allowed to wear underwire bras for a year. Keep following those doc's order and keep healing well :)))
Wow, a year? You know, I never asked how long until I can wear a bra with underwire again. I just assumed until they said I was healed. You got a lift also right? Was it an anchor incision?
No, I didn't need a lift -augmentation only :)

Free at Last!

No more drains! I can't wait to take a shower! I went back to work yesterday and I'm Definitely taking it easy. I was exhausted by the end of the day. I go back for my next post op on Tuesday. I can't believe it's already been 2 weeks since my surgery!

Best feeling ever and I can't believe we are 2 was today I feel great it's my birthday lol but I still have a little more time off :-) so take it easy so you can cont to heal fabulously lol
Time certainly flies after sx :))) Yay for no drains! Happy 2 week post op anniversary. Congrats getting back to work. Keep healing well :)))
