I just to make sure every one is aware of this the first time I had a spot on my nose in 2010. The odds of it coming back in the same spot is odd. Well I first saw the spot on my nose change colors so I went back to my Mohs surgeon and she did a biopsy right away . The results came back yes again in the same spot again. November 21 2014 my Mohs surgery took 6hrs this time and the basil cell was aggressive. I'm only 38 and I wish I never went in a tanning bed I have pictures to share. I did have plastic surgery so here is some pictures

I've read this can happen, but the odds are supposed to be very slim????....this definitely will make me even more vigilant. Thanks for sharing your story. I hope it all goes well for you.
I just want everyone to be aware of sun exposure and tanning beds. The truth is I did this to myself and my first MOHs surgery is was 34 and now I'm 38 with anyother. Yes it is a slim chance it would come back. I was completely stressed
I had the MOHS by my eye. I was young and dumb, overexposing myself to the sun and tanning beds. I will however have a blue light therapy in a few months, it is supposed to be preventative for cancer and help rejuvenate the skin.
What is blue light therapy? I know they are now promoting a mask with different colored lights for acne, I think red is for inflammation..Is this blue light therapy done at a doctor's office or salon?

This will explain LED treatment:

I added a link for blue light an it was not posted. Google it. It is for cancer prevention, done at the doctors office. Ypu should really look into it if you are concerned about cancer.
Photodynamic therapy aka blue light therapy, is for cancer, not acne.
Thanks! I see my regular derma dr in May,....I'm going in ask about this.
Thanks Eva, something for me to look into and ask derma dr at regular appt.

Just some additional information on Photodynamic Therapy , it can treat multiple issues. According to Doctor Esta Kronberg, it works for "pre-skin cancers, sebaceaous hyperplasia, acne and skin re-juvenation." [Read more

You look great after 5 weeks, It gives me some hopes. I also had BCC and never gone to a tanning bed and was not a fan of being tanned but probably just a few times I was sun burnt this happened to me. I had mohs surgery and constructive surgery, almost the same stop as yours. Not sure if I will need plastic surgery or not.
Great results! Glad you are cancer free!
Looks great! Best wishes to you!
Its covered by my health insurance!
