WORTH IT
As a surgeon myself, I was very careful on choosing my doctor. I met Dr Pearson about a month before my lip procedure and at that time I was interviewing multiple physicians. Right away I was impressed by his front office staff, particularly his Patient Care Coordinator. She was so professional and helpful, not to mention extremely well organized, sending me messages regarding future appointments and always making herself available for my never ending questions!
On speaking with Dr Pearson, I really appreciated how he LISTENED! He truly wanted to know what my concerns were, which gave me great confidence in him. Dr Pearson patiently went through multiple photos and surgical options with me. His bedside manner was impeccable and he never once boasted over his impressive results (something I did experience at another MD) nor mention his double board certification. What an elegant man. Again I appreciated these things as I felt he was not over promising results to gain my business and was sincere with his goal to please me.
By the time I had the procedure I was not nervous as I knew I made the right choice. The surgery went uneventfully, I had very little pain. It went much more quickly than I expected - I believe about 30 minutes or so. When all was done he had already gone through the discharge instructions multiple times and answered my many questions. I also received a post-op bag with goodies to start me on my way to healing. During post-op days 1 -3 three I had much swelling of my upper lip (which Dr Pearson told me would occur), however I still was nervous about the amount. He was so reassuring and patient (again) with my concern and questions. Dr Pearson's calming character is priceless.
Currently I am Post Op Day 12, I had most of my sutures removed at one week. I still have a tiny bit of swelling but I am SO HAPPY with the results.
I cannot recommend Dr Pearson enough- amazing.

Pretty please can you post photos? Would be SO helpful in choosing a surgeon.
It sounds like this was a positive decision for you! We'd love to see your before and "during recovery" photos if you'd be comfortable putting a few up .
