Face Rejuvenation with Lip Lift - Hermosa Beach, CA

WORTH IT
I had a face lift in Costa Rica four years ago. Not worth it at all, it made my face sag more and in just nine months after. It was so disappointing. Don't waste your money unless you see a lot of excellent reviews. I searched for four years and saw many Doctors before deciding on Dr. James Pearson in Hermosa Beach. He is everything everybody writes on his reviews. I am beyond thrilled with my results. One of his offices is alittle hide away boutique, very private, as is the surgical hospital. His team is professional and so nice.
I had a brow lift, neck lift and lip lift. I was 22 mm long. He removed 9 mm! Everything looks awesome. Dare I tell you that I went on a cruise on the third day.
The Doctor doesn't recommend that, so stay close because he likes to be in contact with you everyday morning and evening for about a week or so. I just want to note that the Doctor has the steadiest hands and the most gentle touch. Honestly, I really was comfortable with everything he did.

I so love a FL combined with a lip lift!! I can't wait to see your results after a few more days!! Happy healing!! XOXO

Hi Kate, yes it really completes the results when you are old and haggard! I spent my whole life outdoors with horses so I got very wrinkled. I still have more work on the lips. Mine are extremely flat and curl under. I also need a Dermabrasion. How are your lips are you happy?

August 22, 2016
Oh yes, the sun did me in too!! Uggh I have had fillers & some Silikon 1000 a few years ago but I need more! My FL is in November so hopefully once I heal from that I can afford a nice lip lift..and more filler (eye roll). I don't know thinking implants? What are you thoughts on those, if you ever thought about it of course.

August 22, 2016
Hi Kat, yes my next step is lip laser or Dermabrasion then possibly an implant. I don't want to be a slave to fillers. I definitely have flat lips so I am doing research on the next step. Who is doing your FL? Good luck, it isn't painful just uncomfortable like wearing curlers to bed,lol the first week.

I added up everything on my wish lift, face & body =40k. Not going to mention this to family because they would freak out big time! Just doing baby steps keeps them off guard on the costs. :) I see Dr. Harley in Nov. for my FL. Then once the filler I am having him put in wears off I will get the lip lift. Are you still swollen in your lip area? I'm a planner so forgive all my questions!

Lips are doing great. But it takes about three weeks. I am here to answer all questions.

Three weeks post-op now! Can't believe it is going so fast. My energy level is back to normal. My head is still numb in places and my neck gets very tingly and itchy at times. My lip is still stiff, but it is settling and seems to be coming down alittle, which is great since this was a big change for me. I've had a love hate thing going on the last three weeks. I hope it lands on love permanently. I do need some plumping in the lips and laser for the wrinkles. But that will be the end of October because I have some big events to go to. I will post some new photos soon.

Thank you. I am happy, just now got to get through the numb and itches. And can't wait to get back to the gym,

I love working out too. Ive been going to the gym and feeling great. I want reconstruction for my recent cancer surgery. A long road ahead and I tend to over think things as I get older. Again may I say you look lovely!

So sorry to hear that you have to go through that nightmare! Just enjoy life, worry doesn't fix things. You will get through this. Where are you from?

August 24, 2016
I'm Canadian Just talking things one day at a time and counting my blessings. I had radiation so it will be about a year before I can have reconstruction. This site has helped me understand the different options and pros and cons of different types of reconstruction. Very empowering for us women

Also so wonderful to have the support of others going through PS and sharing experiences.

Oh my favorite place to visit is Vancouver! But I do want to see the East end. This is a wonderful site. You do get lots of info here with love and support. Your upcoming surgery will go easily and you will be pleased. There are so many ways of doing reconstruction, I have seen it all, being a massage therapist.

That's great! I've decided that the DIEP flap would be the best for me. Don't want to lose my abdominal muscles or have implants. Not sure if it's offered where I live .. as I said I tend to consider every detail before I do anything. Used to live in Vancouver, live about 5 hours from there now. You are right BC is a beautiful place. Where abouts are you?

I live in So. Calif. if you ever need any guidance out here, just let me know. I know the entire area .
I wouldn't go with implants either. Sounds like you know what you are doing. My friend was tested for the BRACA gene and tested positive. She had a double mastectomy . They used the tummy fat. Looks good.

You look fabulous!! Sorry the Costa Rica surgery didn't last! Ughh! I think the Permalip will be the icing on the cake. I would love to hear how you like it or not. Trying to decide if that's in my future too. I can't believe you went on a cruise 3 days post op!! Brave lady! Cheers!

September 26, 2016
Thank you Kat, I am really happy! Having Dermabrasion October 13 then permalip implant.

September 27, 2016
You look wonderful. I think you look great without the lip implant.

Thank you for taking the time to write. I have some juvederm in my upper lip. My lips are normally very flat. I am hoping to just get enough fill with implant si i dont have to spend the time and money on fillers. Not to mention the pain and bruising!

November 10, 2016
If you don't mind me asking how much for lip implant work & have you had any hardening i.e. scar tissue?

November 11, 2016
Lip implant was $2800. And it is very soft. I dont think it should or will get hard. As the doctor would have mentioned it. But also can be taken out and replaced very easily.
