41 W/2 Kids-needed to Get my Self Esteem Back!! Henderson, NV

Thought I'd update since it's been a year! Which I can't believe! I don't feel much is different from the 4 month mark. I was happy then and still am!! The flanks where lipo was done looks a lot less bumpy but the discoloration might stay awhile. I tend to scar and bruise easily so maybe that's why. Doesn't bother me though b/c I'm really happy when I dress each day. I don't change clothes 18 times. I get dressed and head out the door and that was my main goal to feel good in clothes again!! And I do!! My scar looks great, still dark in parts but other parts its faded so much. I have feeling back totally on one side which is awesome!!!

Anyhow, l can't believe how fast the year has gone! I couldn't be happier w/the Dr I chose! She has seen me every 2 months since the surgery. Much more in the beginning of course. She has been doing these injections for the ropey look of my belly button scar? She didn't like how it was looking. And she's done it on tscar to soften, even though she'll remove it w/revision. She said anything you or I aren't happy w/will be revised. She's amazing in my opinion! I have a revision in her office-no charge in May. She will remove the T-scar and lipo a fat pocket I'm not happy abt. So, I'll update again then.

Oh and I ran a 10k the beginning of the month! It had been along time and it felt great not to be running w/a huge bulge! :-)

So decided to take a close up of the "dog ears" which I hadn't real noticed until PS said she didn't like them too much and I guess if you're looking from another person's perspective I see them. Still not a huge deal b/c from my few not so bad. :-)
Went for a walk/run/walk today. Felt great but was sort of weird to be in work out clothes. It has been a long time. Added pic but I had a shirt over when out. Was happy my stomach didn't hurt at all, before this if I ran it was often painful. Think I might try for a half marathon towards the end of the year. Would be nice to have a goal.
