This was the best decision I have made. I chose the best doctor and loving my results so far. I had a TT several years ago that did not include lipo and I wasn't happy until I found dr. Cambeiro
I'm 5 ft 3 170 pounds waist 35" love handles 38" hips 41"
After week 1 I'll update my measurements and weight
My consultation was free and it was not rushed dr. Cambeiro took his time examined my concerns and answered all my questions he even leg me watch a video on smartlipo to gain more insight on the procedure.
My pre op I received a list of medication to pick up and I payed the cost. I was approved for care credit so that was my method of payment which included 6 months interest free. During pre op dr. Cambeiro went over the areas again that he will be focused on.
Honestly although he has so many awards which is amazing I was still nervous because I didn't see any before and after photos from many African American patients. Yet I prayed about it and it all turned out better than I expected!
I did have leakage but it was minimal after 24 hrs I was able to take the gauze off and just put bandaide on the incisions which were extremely tiny! Your advised to not shower for 48 hrs so I took a sponge bath and drank soup and crackers and jello I did not eat heavy because I did not want to be bloated and in pain.
After the procedure you are wrapped in a binder. I purchased a garment from divas curves but I was told to wait after my first week appt so I'm going to listen!!!
The pain is not too painful you will feel sore like an intense workout. Getting in and out of the bed was a little painful my husband did help me but after surgery I felt woozy dizzy and tired. The medication will make u sleep although it's minimal downtime I would say take at least a week off from work!

I had upper and lower abs love handles and bra roll! The worst part was the numbing medication and the bra roll area that part sting a little bit! However dr. Cambeiro constantly asked me if I was ok and gave me more numbing meds. His staff was amazing I felt so comfortable. After the procedure she helped me out on my clothes and shoes. I did not expect to see results right away because I know that I will be swollen but I saw results onDAY 1

I'm considering this and you're my size. I was thinking SonaBella. I don't know. I was afraid of loose skin though. Of course you're a lot younger than I am so your skin probably won't be loose. It's either TT or Lazer lipo.

I had smartlipo triplex meaning three lasers were used instead of the traditional 2 lasers. The third laser main focus is the skin tightening! I had a TT 3 years ago. Super painful major downtime. If your muscles protrude a lot then a TT may be your best bet. If fat is the only main concern I would say smart lipo. I'm not to familiar with sonnabella

My TT WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL. I was swollen for almost a year and looked 5 months pregnant. The worst decision I ever made. Usually TT comes with lipo but mine did not and it left me with fat everywhere! My TT i was able to go to work after 6 weeks but the pain was horrible. The drain tubes was uncomfortable. Everyone experience is different tho so research a board certified surgeon.

The smartlipo triplex is amazing try googling it or watch videos on YouTube that's what I had and I'm in love with my results so far. I can't wait to wear my bathing suit that's why I did it now in January so I can heal by the summertime and work out a bit so I can be two-piece ready and summertime fine!

Day 2 was a breeze. Still swollen and tender but really happy with my results. I did itch like crazy tho! Omg it was crazy I used some benedryl gel and rubbed it all over and it helped a bit I even used a warm rag to soothe the itching.
By the way a total of 1700 cc was removed almost 2 liters or 3.5 pounds!
The garment I wore is from diva curves in a size large it was $85
I am still drinking soup, eating pineapples and lemon water.
I am a little bruised nothing major! I'll update when I'm a week post op

Yes I had a TT almost 3 years ago. I didn't do my research in my doctor k just picked a doctor that was in my area! Wrong decision I don't even know if he was board certified I just wanted a TT so bad and the price was right. After my TT I did not see a major difference I was swollen for almost a whole YEAR! I looked worse than I did before I had my TT. This time I waited until I was completely healed I tried working out because my muffin top was ridiculous. I thought I was going to have lipo during the TT and that was not the case. The smartlipo triplex I just received was the best. I saw results on day 1 it hasn't been a week yet. My stomach no longer sits on my lap and no more love handles. I am still swollen tho so I can only imagine how flat I will be once the swelling goes away. My husband gives me massages so I won't have hard lumps and bumps and then I put on my garment and go about my day. Honestly I have not been working or anything I just take my meds because I'm a baby when it comes to the slightest pain and the meds make me sleepy. I drink plenty water with lemon and snack on grapes and pineapples and drink soup and eat lightly this is not a weight loss procedure but it boost my confidence in my clothes and makes me want to workout more. When I hit week one I will go back to remove the stitches and post another pic!
