I am pretty conservative person so the look I'm going for is very natural and not small or large but a happy medium. I've already had my initial consultation with Dr. Khorsandi and was a little shell shocked when I found out how many CC's it would take to fill my pockets. The initial prescribed cc's was 440 and 480 ( I had something in the 300's in mind). Dr. K then explained how that number is just a number and I shouldn't compare those numbers to what friends have had or before or after pictures Ive seen and that that number would not give my breasts a very large appearance. He also was very direct and said that that size would be needed for my breasts to look nice bc i had large pockets. (I nursed all three of my babies and i went from a small B to a D). I grateful and appreciate honesty even if its not what I want to hear.

Weeks go by and yesterday I had my 2 week post op appointment. I was still not completely over the size issue so I printed off pictures of what I considered the ideal breast (I'll add that to this post, this also happened to be his patient bc I thought looking through his before and afters would be more helpful bc he'd know exactly what he did to that person and know where to go from there in relationship to my breasts). First we paid the remaining balance (we paid $1,900 when we scheduled the surgery date a few days after the initial consultation and $5,650 was the balance for a total of $7,500 for the BA) then they told me what time surgery would be, they gave me my list of meds, given pre and post care info, then i went back to a room to take pictures for 3d imaging, then pictures for my file, did blood work and met with the Dr. K again.

I brought up my concerns and showed him the pictures i had printed out and then we agreed that if i wanted to go a little smaller that the best route would be a lift. I had mentioned a donut lift and he agreed that that would be the option (the addition of a lift cost $2,000 extra for a grand total of $9,500). My new measurements in CC's are 375 and 405 natrelle under the muscle with a lift. My surgery date is scheduled for April 11 at 7am.

wondering why they told you 9,500 for lift with aug but told me 13,000 for same procedure??

what type of lift were they going to do on you? Im guessing because mine would have been a simple lift (benelli lift). My pre-op ladies were on the small side. He even said that my lift could be done in office under general anesthesia.

Uncertainty happens

luzyagua
I wasn’t 100% sure about how I felt with the new plan. After doing more research I concluded that the best thing to do is to go with the doctors first recommendation. But I’m still not sure about size. I called the office and Sarah answered and was so understanding and told me that uncertainty was normal and that if It would help me feel more comfortable I could come in for another visit with the doctor. I told her I would think about it and call her back. Shortly after I hung up I received another call from Patricia (I think that was her name) and she said if it would ease my mind they would order both sizes and write a note saying that I’d possibly have a lift and I could make the decision the morning of surgery. What a relief. Despite looking through countless before and afters on here I’m still unsure about my size. However, I do know that I don’t want a lift after reading all of the cons of a benelli (donut lift) if it won’t make that much of a difference I don’t think it’s worth paying extra for, so I’m glad for that knowledge. I guess it comes down to trusting your surgeon (I know I’ve picked an excellent one) and I am going to let him make the final decision on size. Doctor Khorsandi has a great staff and I’m excited for Wednesday to come ????

I've been meaning to update! I'm almost a month post op and we needed up going with his recommendation no lift. Remember how i felt the size he picked was large...well, his recommendation was stop on and I was so happy that I didn't go the smaller route. As of now, the implants have settled in well. I went to my appointment yesterday and he said that they'll still drop some and my scar is healing really nicely. I may still go through with the beast lift but I'm going to wait till they have fully dropped into place to do that. If you have any questions feel free to ask :)
