I have been seeing Dr. Cambeiro now as a patient...
Now I know how important it is to see a Physician who has dissected the human face and studied the anatomy so that they know exactly where the nerves and blood vessels are so that they know the areas to avoid and the necessary areas to inject to get great aesthetic results.
It is very important to me that Dr. Cambeiro charges by the vial and not by the unit. This way I know he has not shared the vial with others. So many charge by the unit even though it specifically says on the vial "single patient use only".
I've also had some laser services provided by Surgispa and I wish I could recall her name, but she was so kind and wonderful. She was able to zap the broken blood vessels on my face. She was concerned about my level of pain and answered all of my questions. In addition, I have also seen the nurse, Pam, for a consultation, who also does Botox and Filler injections. She was very kind. Although I have not yet had injections by her I intend to get Filler because she was a great listener.
This may not be important to others, but I have never had to wait at their office. I waited last week at my primary care Physician's office for an hour and 15 minutes before he saw me. Dr. Cambeiro has always been on time.
I've been to many offices that have rude, inefficient staff and even if the Physician is wonderful, I refuse to return because I don't want to deal with the staff. At the Surgispa, you'll never have a rude, snotty person answering the phone who's more interested in their iphone, their recent manicure or the gum they are chewing in your ear. This is not the case at Surgispa; great professional staff, clean office and great Surgeon.

As a Medical Doctor myself, I also know how important it is for a Physician to have attended a good surgical and plastic surgery residency program as well as have experience under their belt. Dr. Cambiero first attended a general surgery and vascular/trauma surgery residency for 5 years before he attended his plastic surgery residency at The Mayo Clinic, which ensures each surgical resident has a great wealth of knowledge as well as an enormous patient load. The more patients they assist with in surgery and care for postsurgical means the more complications they've observed. This is of enormous benefit for the resident and later on, their future patients. There are many plastic surgeons that have not attended a general surgery residency first so they have much less experience. Experience means everything, and I mean everything when it comes to surgery. It is also of great importance that Dr. Cambeiro attended a plastic surgery residency and is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery. Many people don't realize the difference between a Cosmetic Surgeon and a Plastic Surgeon until it is too late. I've had an enormous amount of people that have approached me with surgical complications and they insist they have seen a Plastic Surgeon until I review the surgeon they went too to find that they are not Board Certified Plastic Surgeons or even Plastic Surgeons. They chose the Doctor because they liked their personality. That is the worst thing you could possibly do for yourself. Good personality does not mean good surgical skills! I keep telling my friends: you are not going to date this woman or man, they are going to perform surgery on you! I trust Dr. Cambeiro with my Botox and filler injections as well as with any surgical aesthetic interventions I will choose in the future. He is professional, always on time and he has surrounded himself with a kind, professional staff.
