450cc Saline High Profile Breast Augmentation - Birmingham, AL

It’s been a little over 3 years since I’ve gotten my implants. Despite my initial dislike, I have grown to love them! They look very natural and are very soft. Bra size: 32DDD

Picture update. I’m still not 100% happy with them, but I do feel a little bit better. You can tell by the most recent picture (nipple rings) that they have started to “sag/drop” a little more, which I’m happy about—they don’t look as round. I’m still wearing a 32DD (sometimes a 34D) I wear a bra 24/7, sports bras while I sleep and when I go to work.
Still debating on whether I will have an exchange. Money is tight right now, so I’m struggling a bit to save.

I saw Dr. Hedden for my 5 months post op appointment yesterday. He asked how I was doing and I let him know everything was fine as far as the healing process, but I was still unhappy with the shape of my breast. I got undressed and he asked me again what I did not like and what I would like to see. He tells me that switching to a lower profile, will give my breast a flatter appearance and I would lose that projection and upper pole fullness, but I would gain more cleavage and side bood--- and I told him yes I know, that is what I wanted. I told him I wanted the MP+ implant, because I felt it looked more natural and would give the results I wanted. He was strongly recommending against, it because he recommends HP for all of his clients, and told me this was a strange request, being that he only does this maybe once every 5 years (switch from HP to MP)! This let me know why my implant was switched. Although I asked for MP+ implants, he was going to give me HP no matter what, because that is the implant of his choice! So now I'm pissed.
He leaves with telling me that I would basically have to pay for a whole new surgery, but that the recovery would be much quicker and easier.
The nurse came back in with paper work and he discounted me from$3000 to $2000 for the implant exchange. I initially was pissed, but now I am a little more calm. I am still mad that only 5 months after surgery I have to have a revision to get what I want. I am mad that I have to come out of pocket and scrap up $2000 for this new surgery. My results are not Horrible, by any means It is just not what I wanted, and because of that I will be having another surgery. I'm mad, because would I have been giving the implants I had asked for initially, I would not be here today speaking about a revision. I feel this is so unfair, but what can I do about it??
I will leave with Dr. Hedden is an amazing surgeon and is very sweet and professional. I think he does an amazing job with all of his patients, and that is exactly why I chose him. My only take away for women looking to go to him, is to know that HP is his profile of choice, and if you want something else you need to be firm and assertive when telling him what you want, and that you do not want HP at any means.
