At first I was scared to do the PDT. as I went through the procedures I my got progressively worse! It made me not want to even leave my house. I felt uncomfortable taking to people. I hated looking in the mirror. I started my breakouts when I turned 21. At first they were just pimples here and there. When I turned 22 my whole face started breaking out. So finally I came across PDT because I did not want to take accutane. After 7 treatments I can say that I am happy with my results. Don't get me wrong. I still break out here and there but not even as close to what it was! Next step is fixing my acne scars because from my acne I now have ice pick scars! Mainly my fault for picking :( hope this helps anyone out there looking into the procedure! It was worth it for me. Stick through it. It will definitely get worse before it gets better :)

Can you please add dates to your photos so we can see how long the side effects lasted after each treatment? Thanks in advance.

If you are still looking for solutions for ice pick acne scarring, try Infini treatments. I have gotten fabulous healing for my ice pick scars and no long term side effects. I would highly recommend it.

Very helpful! Thank you for the pics. How long did the entire process take? Weeks? Months? I’m scared I had terrible results with retanoids and lasers. I really want to try PDT. Just really afraid of how long my face will be worse. Thank you for your story

Wow, great results, thank you for sharing! I know how devastating acne can be since I've had it for 20 years and I always love hearing from people who have found a way to improve their skin.
What was the procedure like for you?
