Hi, thanks for the compliments. I had my sister come with me on my “adventure”. I highly encourage anyone to have a close family member or friend with them during the trip. My room at the clinic had a companion bed, so that was a big plus.

Yes, I was at the Cira Garcia clinic in Havana. Is hard to find pictures on the internet as Cuba is not big on marketing, which is a shame as they are a hidden gem. i went to cira garcia clinic nov 4 to 14th. omg i cant say enough about this clinic. i felt like part of the clinic when I left. I cried. Didnt want to leave the so nice people there. Pls say hello to Dr Lau and Dr Burgue for me. Linda McGuire from Ottawa Canada lol.. Dr Lau i fell in love with him. He is funny, compassionate, a perfect surgeon in anything he does. he does the best facelifts i am told. incredible surgeon. I had lipo full upper torso and bottom and removed fat from my back. Stitches are healing tremendously. i am going back to get my abd muscles and body lift done next year. When i turn 65 dr lau will do my facelift. The staff and even the security guys are fantastic. You book the room a block away at i forget her name at this moment but they know the name and will refer you there. cheap for 3 nites to stay before you go home if your staying 10 days. you have cafe downstairs...the owner is a beautifl woman and will make your stay wonderful. nice cold a/c for their hot weather. dont try and do anything if you dont feel energy as the heat will make you sick after surgery. i tried and had problems far away from my apt there. so go easy, recover and go back another time. you walk to the clinic for removal of stitches..2 mins and you are there and also to take taxis to where you want to go and back to airport when going home. beware of the taxis though. they set their own prices. a taxi from clinic to airport should cost $25. MY TAXI going home he charged me $40...AND STOPPED down the road from airport to make me pay. when you get off the plane at airport at havana. make sure you go straight to currency at airport to get your money turned to CCUs...their havana money..NOT PESOS...and make sure you get the right amount. your bank wont give you your money back. so if you dont spend all your cuban ccus you have to go back and spend it again lol...and make sure you have the right amoiunt of CCUs payment for the cashier when you go there or they wont do surgery. i didnt do this and had to get up in morning take a taxi to a currency place to exchange my money. it was so early in morning i was very tired and forgot. stupid me. so get your currency when you step off the plane before going to clinic. good luck everyone and dont forget to say hello to the staff for me .. ALSO I BROUGHT A SEPARATE SMALL SUITCASE ON PLANE AND IT WAS FULL OF NYLONS, RAZORBLADES, HAIR STUFF FOR LITTLE GIRLS, BOOKS FOR LITTLE BOYS, DOCTORS LOVED THE SHOE POLISH AND THE CANDIES, THEY CARRY THEM AROUND IN THEIR POCKETS LOL. I SPENT $100 CDN TO FILL UP SUITCASE. THE STAFF LOVED ALL THE ITEMS. EVEN FOUGHT OVER THEM...THEY SO APPRECIAQTE THIS.
