When I was about 16 I realized that my breasts had stopped growing at about 14, and I wasn't happy with what I had. I have never felt feminine when I see myself without a shirt on. I felt like a pudgy little boy. My breasts looked like those of an overweight male. I don't know if anyone has ever noticed the difference in shape with males, but it is there.
I wanted better breasts my whole teen life, and the older I've gotten the more it's bothered me. Now that I actually am a grown woman it killed me not to feel like a woman when I looked in the mirror. So finally, this spring I figured out a way that I could manage to afford to finally get a BA, and December 17th I did it.
They still have a lot of dropping to do, but it's getting better each day, especially after I started doing massages 1 week post op. I am getting a bit impatient, but also very excited to see my final result. I don't know exactly how I'll look, but I know I will be happy with them. Even as odd as they look now I still consider it an improvement. I don't have any before pictures but when I go for my 6 week follow up I will see if I can get a copy of the before pictures they took at the clinic. The pictures I'm posting are from today 12/30/15, 2 weeks post op. The angle of the first one makes one look higher, but they're actually quite close, I just chose that angle because I felt that you could see the result better from that view. Please excuse the dirty mirror.

Type of implant
GotCleavage15December 31, 2015
I forgot to include what type of implant I got. I have Mentor high profile saline unders, 600cc on left and 650cc on right to correct asymmetry.
Before BA I was having to wear a 36C due to having a wide chest, but from the side view I looked like an A cup. I was wide and flat. I'm not sure what cup size I'll be after they drop but I'm guessing full D or small DD. Will update after I go bra shopping.

Nice!! I'm excited to see your updates. Were you nervous to go with such a large size?
January 2, 2016
Actually, I didn't realize that they were really all that large. It's only been since I got them that I've been reading forums and articles about BA and realized that the majority of people are getting like 350-450cc range... Since that realization I have had a few thoughts of 'what if they're too big when they drop' but the more I think about it the less I worry. I really think they'll be just right. But I truly do have a large frame, I guess an 'athletic build' (minus the fitness level that implies lol) so I feel that my body can accommodate a larger size without looking unnatural. I'm hoping a fuller bust will help me have a more feminine appearance. Have you gotten yours yet or just looking into it?

Never mind, I just looked at your review and saw you're scheduled for the 29th. Well congrats on that! If you have any questions feel free to inbox me if you like. Hope all goes well with the surgery and you get the results you're after. :)

Yeah, the 29th! I'm not even excited yet, kinda seems surreal still lol. I'm still trying to figure out what size! Looking forward to your updates

3 week update
GotCleavage15January 8, 2016
Starting to see a little improvement. They were looking kinda square from the side view, but that's starting to round out and soften. They're not super hard anymore. They're starting to feel like they're part of me instead of like I have two big rocks in my bra. They've dropped a little but still have a long way to go. But they definitely are looking and feeling more natural as time passes. I've been reading that a lot of doctors will tell you not to expect to even start seeing any drop until 3 weeks, so I'm feeling pretty good that I'm seeing a change now.

Hi and good to hear you are doing well! I had 600cc Sils done last December so it been a little over a year. dont worry they will change a lot and all for the better. I felt exactly as you did at first. After surgery they were sitting very high and felt very firm, took a long time for them to finally drop and solfen up. I felt at first would I really need to wear a bra after they settled, as they didnt move, bounce or do anything. Well after a few months they did become much softer and realized bras would be neccessary LOL! It does take time for them to settle. Look at it in terms of 3, 6, 12 mos periods. i know that sounds like a lot of time but you wlll notice how they change and shape and feel within those time frames, 12 mos being when they would be completely heeled.

I know this has been quite some time, but if you have an update photo I would love to see how they dropped and settled for you. I got mine done last week and they super high and square.
