WORTH IT
At the end of 2015 I made the decision that I was going to have a second hair transplant to thicken my hairline and add density to my frontal section. It had been 5 years since my first hair transplant and I had learned a lot about the field of hair transplants. This time around I was much more selective with my decision for which office would do my procedure. I wanted a surgeon who was accredited by an organization like the IAHRS to ensure a standard of ethics and skill level. It was also very important to me to have the FDA approved product for wound healing, ACell, administered during my transplant to reduce scarring. Also, the products hypothermosol and ATP spray to ensure the greatest amount of graft survival were important to me for this hair transplant. I personally blog about hair regeneration and I had a long time to consider who would do my next surgery. I would only consider a clinic who was at the forefront of technological practice in the hair restoration field. I found all of these desirable elements at Dr. Boden's office. I just had my procedure done two days ago and my head feels very comfortable today. I don't even need tylenol. My procedure went very well. Before my surgery started Dr. Boden and I mapped out my hairline with mutual input from him and I, which is important. We came up with a look that I'm very happy with. Dr. Boden ended up giving me a few more grafts than what I was charged for to ensure "A++" results. I was very happy about that and I really look forward to the density at the front of my scalp now. Dr. Boden performed all of the FUE extractions himself and kept in good communication with the technicians to ensure all of the grafts that were coming out were in great condition. This is my first experience with an FUE, but I thought that was very attentive and thorough. I don't know if every doctor pays that much attention to detail. The staff was pleasant and we all shared some laughs throughout the day. Some of the most fun was deciding which Pandora station I would listen to next. Overall, I feel like I had a top notch experience and I think anyone should feel comfortable putting their hair goals into the hands of Dr. Boden and his staff.
