I met with Dr. Gordon on 6/9/16 for a consultation...
I met with Dr. Gordon on 6/9/16 for a consultation regarding a droopy eyelid. He examined my eye and talked to me about my options. My first option was to get surgery. However, Dr. Gordon mentioned that there was a possibility that I would need a second procedure as the first procedure to lift my eyelid could result in excess skin on my upper eyelid as my eyelid drooped a lot (left eyelid only opened to about half of what my right eyelid did). An alternative was to try an eye drop called Drop and Lift. We tried the drop and within 10 min, my left eyelid no longer drooped. Dr. Gordon explained that the effects of the drops wear off after about eight hours and that my eye pressure would be lower (not harmful though) and it should be checked after 1 month of usage. Still, I chose to go with the Drop and Lift drops as it was more affordable than surgery and had the same effect.
