Lip Lift London UK - London, GB

So after hours reading everyone's reviews it's...

So after hours reading everyone's reviews it's time to write my own. I had my lip lift today in London with Miss Caroline Mills. Great consultation, she gave me lots of confidence and it's a procedure I've wanted for a long time but having had a number of consultations had never found the right surgeon. I've always had a long philtrum and new the lip lift would balance my face. It's 5 hours post procedure and I'm really achy and sore (taking paracetamol and ibuprofen to help) as the local anaesthetic wears off but very excited about the results. Here are my initial pictures

Day 2

Day 3 still swollen but pain subsiding

I feel I have a bit more movement in my mouth area and can eat normal food now if I chew carefully. Pain is less but the incisions are feeling itchy now (I think a sign of healing) I can't get to them as they're still covered - not that I would itch them - it just feels a bit uncomfortable ??

Day 5

Took my steri-strips off today and after cleaning with cool boiled salt water as instructed really pleased with how the incision is healing. Have put some fresh steri-strips on as I want to protect it until I have my stitches out on Monday

Day 7 - stitches out

Had my stitches out today a bit uncomfortable but glad they are out. Incision looks to be healing well- pink with a few little scabs now where the stitches were. There is still some stiffness in my upper lip and I know it will drop slightly which I am happy about as it will look more settled and natural. Really pleased. Can wear make up to cover the scar in a day or so but feel ok being in public as it is with people I don't know

Stitches out

Day 10 with make up

Have been out and about for a week or so now at first with no make up on incision and now with. The scar is healing well but is dry so stick concealer just cakes and I found foundation is best to cover it. Have seen a few people I know now and no one has looked at me weird or said anything ??

Hey guys I'm adding a few full face shots but will take them down (can inbox if required). Just wanted to share the difference it has made to my face overall x

Shots with mouth closed and full face before and after shots again

Hey ladies I've had a lot of private messages requesting these so here goes.

To answer questions I've had I paid £2000 for the surgery and I would definitely recommend Caroline Mills. My scar is fading daily, when I have no make up noone notices but I was always ok with having a scar and I think people have to realise that if they are having their face cut there will be a scar and have to be ok with that. For me the trade off in terms of how I look overall was 100% worth it. Any more questions post them here and I'll aim to answer asap xx

scar close up 3 months post

Hi guys

As requested some close up photos of my current scar as it is. As I said previously there is still a scar and I'm ok with that , I didn't go into the surgery lightly and new that would be the trade off. However it's really light and fading daily. Kelocote scar gel morning and night really helps!

full face shots - a few weeks post procedure and just taken today

Hey guys

I thought I'd repost the full face shots as I've had a lot of requests and want to help.

I've also posted some full face shots I took just today so you can see the difference between a few weeks post and nearly a year.

I short I am absolutely delighted with the results. Miss Mills is a fantastic surgeon and I would highly recommend her. My scar is now flat and white and invisible when I have foundation on but I have no issues not wearing makeup as you can only see it if you look for it.

I thought it important to post the today photos so you can see how the lip drops a bit and relaxes after nearly a year. Miss Mills did explain the skin does stretch back so you almost need to take more than you need to get the right result. Even with the drop I am super super happy.

Apologies about the quality, my phone is not the greatest. Hope they help! xx
