Jowls back worse than ever. Waste of money having the lower face lift.

I'm sorry this happened to you, thank you for this honest review.
I have considered this doctor for a year now, and would like to know why he would not modid the result when he stated it had failed. I've already had a bad experience with one doctor and have spent 2 and half years searching for the right doctor to fix what's happened and doing tons of research on the different procedures and risks involved. He's been my top pick so far and this is disappointing to me. Would you please pm me what happened.
I have the same problem. My jowls appear worse than before surgery and my jawline is awful. Mi look disgusting if I put my head down. It is almost like fat has appeared in neck and jowls but I didn't have fat transfer.
No I wasnt warned that I would have jowls again. Fat drops because as you age the fat from the cheek area drops with gravity, thus producing jowls. He suggested mid face filler from his own practise, spending yet further money. I would then look like a chipmunk. I declined his advice as I would then still have jowls in any case. He does not always correct complications, I do not know where you got this information from and I do not believe everyone is eventually happy, that would be living in cookoo land!

After much research I came across this well trusted website and read about Dominic Bray. His ablity to constantly achieve 5 stars from reviews was very impressive. I am vain, and so this was an incredibly precious decision on whether to go ahead or not. On 10th December I had a lower face lift and my sagging neck contoured. I cannot be happier!!! When I saw the before and after pics in Dominic's office, it brought tears to my eyes. An amazing artist, perfectionist, skilled guy! Thank you soooo much Dominic ... truly the best!

It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience, like why you had the surgery, your tips for getting good results, pros/cons, and info on the recovery process.

Sorry to jump in on your thread, but I can give an instant answer. If you look on Dominic's website he has the prices of his procedures shown there. Do remember he is very much in demand so you may have to wait a while for a consultation.
My procedure cost £9,500 which was for lower face lift incl. neck lift. Your welcome and best of luck with any decisions you make x
I am due for lower face and neck lift with platysma in January so appreciate your review. As it is only five days since your surgery how are you feeling?
Not too bad at all today. I still have some swelling from face and lymph nodes in neck but only need minimal painkillers now. Face and neck look perfect. Sleeping upright has been very tough. Good luck with your orocedure in January, you won't be disappointed xx
did Dominic give you anything stronger than paracetamol for the pain. I've never considered paracetamol a strong painkiller x
He only prescribed Paracetamol. I didn't consider it strong either but I'm sure there must be a reason for only this painkiller. Probably more gentle on the stomach and/or mixes well with all the other meds that have to be taken x
Did you find paracetamol was enough to ease the pain and did you have a platysma?

Hi. Glad to hear all is well. Did you have a brow lift as well? If so how are the scars in that area?
Sorry to hear about your problem. How has Dominic explained such a bad result? I had a consultation with him but haven't decided yet.
Have you had any further surgery from another surgeon?
It is all very worrying and it appears that this problem is more common than one hears as the majority of the reviews are only a few months down the line!
