Had a very strong treatment 2 passes or stacking as I was told ,lots of blood oozing swelling .
Very painful even though I had numbing cream and dental block .
I'm 2 weeks out and still see all my wrinkles .
Can any doctor say why I've had no improvement and what I would be better of having .
I have had the lines for along time ,the rest of my face is very good I always use strong sun cream on my face and I have no freckles or brown pigmentation.
Just these lip lines I want to improve without fillers .
Dr told me I would be great for co2Relaser as this goes much deeper than normal co2 dot laser .how many passes can one have ,I had 2 , would I of been better with more stacking

Can I ask where did you had them, as I have a deep acne scars and the doctor in skin clinc Leicester did a test patch for 100 pounds and said full face 730 and I need more than one visit. He told me core is the best . Test patch didn't show anything as he did very small area just 3 dots. I am not sure to go for it or not as it is 5 visit and 730 each and he is not sure. In the UK every one telling me than they are useless. Cosmetic is zero in the UK

I, too, have acne scars (of varying depths and types.) I have had 4 CO2RE treatments (along with TCA Cross.) The first one was full face, the subsequent ones partial (about 3/4 of face.) I have had improvement to nearly all scars, but I (and my Dr.) are planning quite a few more treatments to get me to the point I wish to be. I may also be getting an excision or two, along with subcision and fillers. Don't expect miracles with 5 laser treatments alone. If your scars are deep or severe, it will take a lot of laser treatments, possibly other types of treatments, in addition and plenty of time and money.

thank you so much for this, but i paid a lot in the past from one fraxel 5 years ago and derma roller 5 treatment, and the last one derma pen electronic in skin clinic which is the most expensive clinic in the UK. i paid around £1200 FOR 4 VISIT with the doctor with zero result i swear. i am really dawn. I found in the last 3 months , a girl in the real self who put her photo before and after from home treatment she did and i followed her regime which messed up my face completely, i am really sad and i don't think that my doctor knows all what your doctor know. my scars is not deep only 3 of them. is deep please can you tell me after 3 treament how many percentage of improvemnt you seen. i am finically dead from my scars, i can pay more but the question with no improvement which is not fair at all. plaese let kmow

Sorry you had no improvement despite an expensive, strong and painful tx. I am, thinking that since the rest of your skin was god as you say, perhaps the problem needed a multi-pronged approach. Do you have a life-long habit of pursing your lips? That will cause deep wrinkles that will not go away unless you relax those muscles and do not ever purse them again. So, if you smoke, drink thru a straw, or just have a habit of pursing your lips, you have to stop all of that 100%. I do not want to recommend procedures, as I know they can go wrong, but I am wondering if botox can be used in that area at all. Or perhaps some fillers? Even if the muscles are 100% relaxed, you may not get full improvement. However, I think that is the primary problem, and all th resurfacing in the world won't get rid of it. I know someone whose skin also looks quite young, except she has similar wrinkles just in that upper lip area. She has a habit of constantly pursing her lips. I don't think she's even aware of it.

Oh, maybe wearing a frownies type of bandage to stop any pursing just while you're home / at night? DON"T wear these until your skin heals tho, and never remove w/o wetting thoroughly 1st so you don't rip your skin off.

One or two fractional laser treatments aren't going to make a dent in deep perioral wrinkles. You need regular botox (every 3 mos. for 2 years, then less often after that. And probably fillers after your first botox injections, because the lines are deep and botox alone may not fully eliminate them. With time, and repeated botox, you may not need fillers anymore. Also, you may need traditional CO2 to get rid of surface lines.

No. It doesn't. Dermaroller really only helps mild, surface textural problems and fine wrinkles. I know, because I had 7 professional treatments.

Dermaroller will do nothing for those lines. Agreed with cornflowerblue on recommendations.
