Ready for my Flab to Go! - Harker Heights, TX

I stopped taking the narcotic pain medications yesterday, and am now just using ibuprofen (which is working wonderfully). My drain output has decreased significantly, and has turned to a very light color, and thin consistency. My post op appt is tomorrow so I look forward to what my PS has to say. I am showering regularly, and have not had a problem using the restroom. I think this is because I have continued my regimen of juicing, to include flax, and chia seeds, and lots of leafy greens. I have been getting up on my own and standing with only a slight hunch since PO day 2. Now I am just ready for the drains to come out, and the swelling and tightness to go away!

I have been sleeping fairly well, I am sure it has something to do with taking the pain mods around the clock. My abdomen is so tight and swollen, and is still numb for the most part. ( I am assuming that is normal). I am walking almost perfectly upright. My drains are still putting out a significant amount of drainage, however, as a big of a nuisance as they are i would much rather see the fluid come out then just stay in my tissue! I my incision is very ole and straight, and I am happy with the look of my new bb. I will take some photos and upload later today! Good luck to all of you in your flat tummy endeavor!

Had my TT yesterday, and I am glad to see I am on the flat side. I have done well with pain, in part to the PCA. I will go home from the hospital today. I am pleased with what I see so far!
