Happy anniversary. And we'll done for your bonk with your new honk. ;) glad your getting on well with the healing process. It really is a case of patience especially with tip work. Doesn't it feel wonderful to actually love your hooter.
Ah very good Helen you are a poet - very funny, love it! Yes patience is byword for nose job as i was just saying to Tia/Nikki. And yeh isn't it fab to look in mirror n think 'yes great nose!' for first time ever! SO glad you're doing so well Helen you bounced back so fast! Yay for all of us brave enough to go for it! Love Mel xx
Well double congrats for being marred for 18 years and still considering your husband lovely & for having a nose that you now like!! (couldn't stand my ex after just 5 years of marriage LOL, but at least I'm feeling good about the progress my "new" nose is making slowly but surely).
Thank you Blessed - yes am appreciative to be very lucky in hubby dept.. Happy to hear you are feeling good about your new nose! I must look up your review... lotsalove Mel xx
Oh my word Blessed - have just read your story... i'm amazed you have kept your sanity and your sense of humour after your nose-journey. Have left you a msg. Your writing is really good - you could be a pro writer!! Love Mel x
Yes, my "nose-journey" has been a real trip! Thank goodness I've been blessed with tenacity and a crazy sense of humor. It's either laugh or cry and crying makes my nose swell more so I choose to laugh. What a nice compliment...I've always love to write. Hopefully, I can add you to the list of 5 people who said they will buy my novel when it's finished. Very long way from a bestseller, right?! LOL! Blessings Mel!!!!
Oh wow you've written a novel!! Yes i'll def buy that Blessed! You are a beam of sunshine on a grey day! I'll let you into little secret - i wrote one too but bet yours is way better!! Fon't undetestimate yourself - I see talent in you for making people feel good. You are fab! Love Mel xx
P.s. you're right crying makes new noses very unhappy and puffy!
You're a sweetheart Mel! Let's say we both will be the next J. K. Rowling. How 'bout that?! We are Rhinoplasty Sisters and Literary Sisters. LOL. Continue to heal well dear!
Yes yes i love it! J k Rowling eat your heart out - this time next year ( or maybe the year after ) we'll be billionaires too Woohoo! Let's get typing Blessed my friend! Scribo est vigo - to write is to live. Here's to us sister! Love and inspiration, Mel [RS bleep]
Well look at you-- you're bilingual too. Yep, that sounds like a good time frame. We can show off the final results of our new beautiful noses at our book signings! Your children will just have to make their own lunches while you're away signing your best seller. LOL!! (still love your son's response..so funny) Stay well dear!

First check up after surgery.
Went off to The Harbour Hosp this morn for check up with Mr Cadier. He was pleased with healing but did say i seem swollen as if nose should be less swollen than it actually is... but inside nostrils healing fine. He was interested to hear about the post-op bleeding i had and agreed with me that it was probably caused by change of pressure when i stood up far tooo fast. Have always gone dizzy when leaping to feet too quickly. That's what the prob has been all along i think... blood pressure. Mine is a bit on low side so sudden upward movement not good!! That's why for last week n half i have been moving much slower like a snail! Nostrils that looked a bit uneven are coming back into snyc thank goodness! Columella swollen of course but getting less as weeks go by. Very very happy with new nose. Money well spent - 3 grand not too bad i spose! - new nose is hundreds of times better than original! Will try to arrange more piccies asap. Laters lovelies! Love Mel [RS bleep]

Thats amazing news Mel. So happy for you. I love reading your updates. ❤❤
Thank you Tia. You have been a great support to me throughout my nose adventure - i appreciate your friendship very much. You'll be next! Did you get your car fixed and make new appt to see your surgeon hun..? Love Mel [RS bleep]
Thankyou and your a good friend too
Thankyou and your a good friend too. Yeah got car fixed yet again. Another £300, I wont have any money left for my new nose at this rate!!!. Got first appointment at 12.00 tomorrow and then to meet with a surgeon who ive chose in Manchester but will let you know what happens after my first appointment. Exciting but nervous so god help me when the time arrives for it doing. How long from your very first appointment to surgery did you wait? Love Nikki.(Tia is my daughter and cant think that I put that but I must have.haha) xx
Ah so you are Nikki...ok will have to get used to that!! So you must have been for your appt by now. How did it go? Are you happy with potential surgein? Were they he or she easy to talk to? Did you have rapport? My first appt with mine was third week in April of this year then i changed my mund about the procedure he suggested and saw him again about month later. I wanted my nose done at end of July to coincide with school summer hols but earliest date they had was 6th Aug which was fine... the hosp is in Poole which is short train journey away. .. it is a scary thing to do but life is full of those so bite the bullet Nikki, like i did and go for it! Make sure, really sure that you're happy n confident in your surgeon and he or she has GREAT credentials. Look forward to hearing from you hun. Love Mel [RS bleep]
P.s. Bloomin' cars! Always got hand in pocket when you're a car owner!!
First of all HAPPY ANNIVERSARY !!!!! Hope you had a great day. Well I went to see the patient co-ordinator who was lovely and gave me a lot of information but the surgeon who I had in mind due to a lot of great reviews isn't one from the Leeds Clinic. Thing is if I want Mr Tahery I will have to go to Manchester for a consultation so will see what the one is like in October in Leeds. I will be having my op in same hospital in Manchester anyway so I will let you know how it goes. I cant have it done till July next year because its the only time I can have 3 weeks off together and wont have to do the school run. I'm definitely going for it now as ive seen everyone's great results. Hope your getting there now Mel and feeling much better. Love Nikki xx
Yes checking out a couple of surgeons - good. Understand about having to time nosejob to life commitments. It seems to me Nilki that nosejobs are a lot about patience - waiting til time is right to have it done, waiting for right surgeon, waiting to recover and waiting yo see final result for more months!! Yes am feeling much better now thanks hun. At long last! Yes had nice anniversary thanks. Take care Nikki mate. Love Mel [RS bleep]
