Happy with my Deep Plane Facelift Results
WORTH IT
I am 62, and I have thin english skin. My neck became very saggy at 60, and nasolabial folds were very deep, so decided recently to get the whole lot fixed. I had an upper blephoroplasty (didn't need the lower), facial fat transfer, deep plane facelift and necklift.
I found the process quite uncomfortable, but did not experience unmanageable pain. I am 30 days post op, and healing well with no complications. Still feeling tight and tender under my chin and around my ears, but it's getting better.
Here's a helpful tip for the first few weeks after surgery: you will be instructed to sleep on your back as you will have swelling and stiches and numbness around your ears and sides of your face. I'm a side sleeper, so that was problematic for me. I had an travel pillow for the airplane (the kind that goes around your neck) at home and so slept on my side with the side of my face in the hole and it worked great! No pressure on any of the sore spots.
