6 Weeks Post Op

I am doing great considering having surgery 6 weeks ago. I still have some swelling down the middle of my abdomen and just above my incision line. I'm beginning to feel those sharp tingling pains beneath my incision line as nerves are getting all connected back together. I'm back in the gym, running and lifting weights. I'm not doing any ab work though.
Got my belly button stitches removed a couple of days ago.

you look amazing! I dont know about this surgeon so this is helpful. I am nervous and need to feel confident and relaxed. I am just about set for surgery but nerves are killing me
Dr. Ashruf has been awesome all along the way. I'm sure there are many good surgeons around. I think anyone would have some jitters with considering surgery. Dr. Ashruf's team were also great and very reassuring too. I say if this is what you have been wanting... go for it!

I had my surgery with Dr. Ashruf on Tuesday 12/4/18. He was amazing. Your scar looks good. Are you using the two tubes that Dr. Ashruf gave you? Are you using any other scar treatment?
Congratulations! I started using the Strataderm tube he gave me around 6weeks. Honestly, I don't even use it every day. Not using anything else.
You look amazing! How long until you returned to work?
I'm a SAHM, so didn't need to return to work. I would say, that you would need a two weeks off. Even after that sitting for long periods of time, I would feel the tightness in my abdomen. Would need to stand and stretch.

6 Days Post Op

Forgot to add pics of my progress before getting my drains out. No more meds needed after day 5. Doctor Ashruf removed my drains on day 8. It was uncomfortable but not very painful when he pulled the drains out. Felt great after that. The sites where I had the drains were pretty sore after removal. I return on 22 days po for my next appt.

5 Days Post Op

Today is the first day I've been able to get a picture of myself since surgery. Healing well thus far. No real pain, just tightness and swelling. Walking hunched over is not comfortable and is killing my back. So far so good. Three more days until the drains come out!
