Dr. Ashruf is So Worth It!

TT4BetterMe
WORTH IT$9,200
My overall experience with Dr. Ashruf and his staff as been outstanding! From my consultation to my day after follow up appointment. He was very gentle, confident in his knowledge and abilities (not cocky), and reassuring. The nurse (Tricia) and anesthesiologist (Chris) were awesome as well. Once they got started, everything went very smooth.

I am thinking to go with him for my tummy tuck just so nervous about it being done in a surgical center vs a hospital

I am thinking the same! so nervous

I can understand that concern. The surgical area is very sterile, just like a hospital center. The staff were great and I didn't encounter any issues. My regular physician said he did really good work too when I went in for my physical. At this point, I'm 5 weeks po.

Yea I am moving more toward him. How is your belly button? Nicely done?

I think it's coming along okay. I haven't looked at that many pictures to compare. I just had the BB stitches removed today. I'll update my pics soon. Still swollen down the middle of my abdomen. Feels better and better.

Thanks so much. Is the recovery horrible? I am so nervous but people like yourself gives me hope

The recovery isn't horrible. The first week is the hardest, especially until the drains come out (which can be annoying, but serve a great purpose). Of the first week, the first 3 days are the most painful. I went off the oxy at day 4 and the Ibuprofen at day 5. You will need a lot of help/hand-holding the first several days. You get stronger everyday as your body recovers. I still can't believe I did it, but am so happy I did. Don't let fear of the recovery prevent you, in my opinion it is totally worth it.... well it was for me! Good Luck!!!

Went to see Dr. Ashruf, the day after surgery. I was able to see a couple pictures that he took while I was open. He measured my Diastasis Recti and it was 4inches. The next picture showed my muscles stitched together. Again, he's very knowledgeable and assuring in his work.

Today is the first day I've been able to get a picture of myself since surgery. Healing well thus far. No real pain, just tightness and swelling. Walking hunched over is not comfortable and is killing my back. So far so good. Three more days until the drains come out!
