Consultation review - Will get a 2nd opinion soon

I went to a hand specialist who said my finger is healing curved down. He asked if I wanted him to adjust my finger into a straight alignment. In order to do that he would have to bend my bone in the opposite direction. When I compared my other finger the other finger does it too. I asked if there would be a difference in x-ray. He said "huh?" Acting dumb. Then i asked if he can see misalignment through x-ray and he said no there is not and kept saying I'm just trying to "make it better". I just wanted to know how in medical terms is he going to "make it better." There are so many bogus doctors out there trying to get more $ when you don't even need the procedure. Then i asked Will there be a difference in x-ray before and after? He cant answer me. He said it's my opinion my choice. I told him this is not my field i didnt study this, he would know if it's nessasary. I said no thank you don't bend and break my finger in the opposite direction thanks and left. Will get 2nd opinion soon and update.
If it should be done medically then he should say so. If it's for aesthetic purposes then the x ray would show difference before and after
